Airphil Laoag flights.[edit]

Good day! Please refrain from listing Laoag as a destination on the 2P list and the MNL page; as well as from listing Manila on the LAO page. Per 2P booking engine and official timetable, all 2P MNL-LAO-MNL flights are operated by Philippine Airlines. It is against WP:Airports policy to list down code share flights. Thanks! pikdig (talk) 10:11, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

Please don't copy text into Wikipedia from sources protected by copyright[edit]

Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. F-8 Crusader edits[edit]

Hello! I wanted to let you know I undid your recent edit to Vought F-8 Crusader; while there was a lot of good information in your addition, it appeared to be directly copied/pasted from your source- paraphrasing is recommended instead (please see WP:Copy-paste). Also, the website you referenced may not quite follow Wikipedia's verifiability guidelines- see WP:V for more info. Perhaps the information exists in a different, published source?

With a little bit of work, your information could be a welcome contribution to the article.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Mactan-Cebu Int'l Airport Terminal 2.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Mactan-Cebu Int'l Airport Terminal 2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 19:11, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Mactan-Cebu Int'l Airport Terminal 2.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mactan-Cebu Int'l Airport Terminal 2.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. LGA talkedits 03:52, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Stalling of PAF UH-1H Delivery from Rice Aviation[edit]

Sorry, I need to take out the additional info you placed on the PAF page re. this. The news on this issue varies on the interpretation of the reporter of the released information by DND. The election reason is just a way for PAF to garner support for its immediate approval, and not really the main reason for the purchase of the helos. Delivery has not stalled, but is just delayed because of the requirement to have 16 of the units upgraded to Huey II standard, which takes time to do. Phichanad (talk) 03:39, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Also related to the UH-1H portion of the PAF article, do take note that media outfits always misinterpret military terms and jargon. There are actually more than 40 operational Hueys, but not all of them can fly at the same time, as some are in maintenance. Operational also counts aircrafts that are working, but is currently or awaiting maintenance to be fully capable. Either they are being serviced, or in line for servicing, or undergoing flight testing after servicing. If you follow the famous "rule of 3", 16 ready Hueys mean there are approximately 32 more Hueys back in the base.
