Aloha! Welcome to my talk page. I don't want to archive. Anything of great import can be found in the history. A hui hou. --Ali'i 15:30, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Thank you for your work in removing watermarks from images! It was work that really needed to be done. —Bkell (talk) 00:01, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I try. Mahalo. --Ali'i 13:08, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also a hearty thanks from me on the removal of the watermark from the Gettysburg Lincoln Monument. It helps the picture in a featured article. CJC47 (talk) 13:20, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! Thanks for even noticing! ;-) Mahalo. --Ali'i 13:24, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixing BLPs[edit]

Thank you very much for working on the BLPs list in my user space. There's an incredible amount of dreck in some of these bios; every removal or sourcing addition helps. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 00:22, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incedible indeed. It's one of the reasons I just can't let Wikipedia well enough alone. Whenever I come across these pages with biography problems, I generally try and fix some. I think messedrocker (I think, it could have been someone else... maybe with a "dragon" or "eagle" in their name?) ran a program and had a huge list of where the categories "Living people" and "unsourced" coincided. I tried working on that for a while. Mahalo for your help on these critical articles. --Ali'i 13:58, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Addendum: I was right on both: User:Messedrocker/Unreferenced BLPs and User:Nixeagle/problem BLPs... although both appear a little outdated now. :-( --14:01, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Reply to your comments[edit]

Hi. I've replied to your comments on my talk page as well as I could. I'm willing to keep discussing this if you'd like, and frankly I'm hoping that some one will come along and show me that my worries are misplaced. If you've got better things to do, don't worry about trying to "convert" me though :-). Cool3 (talk) 17:25, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks![edit]

All the ANIs, WQA, CUs, RFC/Us and RFARs are over, I trust. I sincerely thank you for voicing your position on the RFC/U on me. I did not canvass anyone, and in order to avoid any claims that I canvassd, I waited until now (the request to reopen the RFC/U seems dead). Again, many thanks! NowCommons: File:Extreme close-up of sunflower head.jpg[edit]

File:Extreme close-up of sunflower head.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Extreme close-up of sunflower head.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Extreme close-up of sunflower head.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 05:21, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:Ali'i/Teleprompter usage by Barack Obama, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Ali'i/Teleprompter usage by Barack Obama and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Ali'i/Teleprompter usage by Barack Obama during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Scjessey (talk) 04:17, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fleebaggers article[edit]

Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, without the risk of speedy deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. -- DanielKlotz (talk · contribs) 02:30, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Stephen T. Ayers has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. joe deckertalk to me 16:09, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kālā listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Kālā. Since you had some involvement with the Kālā redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 17:04, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
