ducking and diving

Alison - Parents Elvis Costello fans ?--— ⦿⨦⨀Tumadoireacht Talk/Stalk 07:20, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

Sadly, no. Because if it were true, I'd be somewhat younger now :) - Alison 18:30, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Sorry for pocking my nose, but I love the song. Again, sorry sorry sorry for pocking my nose, but I couldn't help it. Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 18:37, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
LOL - me too, even though there's a suggestion of jealousy and murder in the lyrics :) - Alison 18:42, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
Yep, those are creepy lyrics if you pay close attention, but there's something about the song that I can't help but singing out loud each time it's being played in my iPod :D Aaaaaaalisoon Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 18:45, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

Apple Keychain accounts

Hi Alison! I just posted about this at WP:AN - can you shed any light on this? Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 21:07, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Was just going to write an article on her, but I see you're already on it. Could I deal with the biography and you deal with the discography? The last time I put a discography into one of my biographies was a long time ago.--Launchballer 18:27, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

  • Sounds good - feel free to work away on it I'll do some discog soon as I have the time. Thanks :) - Alison 20:25, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
How strongly does this edit smell of Wiki-PR to you?--Launchballer 09:20, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

FYI

I left a message on Prolog's talk. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 04:54, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

  • Rather obvious - sigh - checked and  Confirmed - Alison 05:17, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

And another one. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 16:53, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Talk page stalker wandering by, that does indeed look like old friend Grundle2600. He's stayed off the Obama-specific pages for a year or so now, looks like he's been flying under the radar in related articles. Cordial enough fellow actually, just very very biased in what he wishes the Wikipedia to project. Tarc (talk) 17:06, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
He put a lot of work into his recent "contributions," prepping it in his sandbox and all, and he doesn't like seeing it all go away. What a waste of his time, I almost feel sorry for the guy. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 17:42, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Found a bunch, blocked a bunch. Blocked some other stuff. Just let me know if he shows up again - Alison 18:11, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for staying on top of this. If we see another quick reversion on that talk page can we have a rangeblock please? --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 18:13, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Sure thing. If he keeps messing around with the talk page, just let me know and it can be semi'd for a bit. Like Tarc says, he's a cordial enough dude and there's a way through all this, but he kinda has to play by the rules - Alison 18:14, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure semi would help, given his stable of accounts. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 18:18, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Just as an FYI, I did [open an SPI] for the latest batch of Grundlesocks and requested CU for any sleepers. As I commented there, this entire situation is just too much for him to resist. EDIT: And thank your for handling this before his posts start feeding more madness. Ravensfire (talk) 18:23, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Well the madness continues, as Arzel is reverting (here, here) my WP:BE deletions. Alison, could you please tell him to back off? I don't want to start a discussion on Talk:PPACA as that would only fuel Grundle's fire. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 18:50, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
I think this requires immediate attention before it snowballs out of control, so I'm going to post something at ANI. I won't hit "save changes" at that page without checking to make sure someone hasn't taken care of this already. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 19:16, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Frankly, that's just Arzel being Arzel. But it's annoying and it needs to stop. Of course, I'm an involved editor and I don't think Arzel has any particular interest in what I have to say, so I don't think I'm in a position to do much about it. MastCell Talk 19:42, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Alison, there are a few more added by Ravensfire and me at WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Grundle2600 you might want to check out, as I guess the SPI clerks have a backlog. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 19:43, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I'm back (sadly). Would you mind looking at this one? --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 00:36, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

  • Hi again. Yeah,  Confirmed a few there. Blocked now - Alison 01:57, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

And this one. --Dr. Fleischman (talk)

  • Two more  Confirmed and blocked :/ - Alison 11:15, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

And another. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 04:57, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

  • *sigh* -  Confirmed and blocked - Alison 06:29, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

Almost 10 years on wiki =o

A bit early, but just wondering how are you going to celebrate? =). 10 years is a long time to be dedicated to a website. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 00:22, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Laura Wilson

Do you think the protection on Laura Wilson can be removed yet? Jackmcbarn (talk) 22:28, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

  • I'd rather not do that, sorry. It's been the constant target of a banned editor and there have been RL repercussions - Alison 23:06, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
It's been four years and I can't see anything in the history to suggest anything. Endorse unprotection.--Launchballer 09:53, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Please don't do that. It relates to a series of off-wiki harassment incidents that resulted in a criminal matter - Alison 10:03, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm not administrator - yet - I couldn't if I wanted to. I wonder what sort of an admin I would make?--Launchballer 10:57, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
