List of GUI testing tools

Actually, this was a linkfarm; an article having any number of incoming links doesn't make it immune to deletion, and the article consisted almost entirely of external links - Wikipedia is not a directory. Speedy deletion of Template:EnLanguageName

A tag has been placed on Template:EnLanguageName requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes.

You have been around rather a long time, so I'm not giving you the 'standard template' warning here. However, I would like to draw your attention to WP:3RR. You have now arguably reverted iOS three times in 24 hours and are in danger of violating WP:3RR. I strongly suggest refraining from any more reverts for at least 24 hours, then perhaps discussing the issue on the article's talk page. Note that I have not implied that your edits are incorrect. It's possible they are correct. It's also possible they were incorrect earlier in the day, but the wikidata has changed and so they are now correct. @Yamla: Thank you for your warning. However, I think my reverts should not count to 3, since they are reverts in different circumstances. The first 2 reverts is for those edits that their editor misunderstood that my edits is a test, while the 3rd revert is for the changed template.

In additions, the reverts to revert misunderstood editors should never count in 3RR.

The reverts for changed template should also not count, since it is technical revert, not disputed revert.

1. Which bugs you seen in my code? Please show or explain them.
2. I'm not offense the revert of User:FleetCommand, he just point the problem that my edit add undocumented parameters unintentionally. I just explain that it is my intention to add new parameters, and the document will be updated later. I never offense him.
   1. My revert to User:FleetCommand seem to resolve his dispute (since he misunderstand my edit, which lead to mistaken revert), so why you count this revert as edit war?
3. For the revert of User:Darius robin, he does not give any explanation why my edits has problem. So how can I point out why he disagree with my edits?

You have added three faulty and unhandled parameters to the template: |fetchwikidata=, |suppressfields=, |onlysourced=. You don't even realize that you did that.

Darius robin reverted you without an edit summary because your contribution is so bad that everyone with a smidge of knowledge knows it is damaging.

1. As I said in the edit summary, it is my intention to add those 3 new paramaters to template. What did you mean unhandled? The default blank value of those paramaters is handled properly in Module:WikidataIB.
2. I know how to indent, but sometimes I prefer flat thread discussion, especially when the thread does not fork. The indents waste the screen space unnecessarily when the thread does not fork.
3. Can I say, it is rather you that personally offense me?
4. Do you really study Module:WikidataIB used in my edit? Do you really understand how those parameters work in that module? People with smidge knowledge may not know how those parameters work, so you cannot say that "everyone with smidge knowledge knows it is damaging". Mistakenly saying that "everyone with smidge knowledge knows it is damaging" may imply that you not understand how those parameters work at all. Dab pages

Hi Ans!

I have a few comments to your edits at the disambiguation page Trang. As you can see, both User:Shhhnotsoloud and I have referred to the guideline MOS:DAB in our edit summaries. If you are planning to make more edits to dab pages, it would be wise to use some time to get to know the dos and don'ts about dabs. Shhhnotsoloud is an experienced editor who specialise in dab pages. I have also learned quite a bit, mostly from my own many errors until I studied the guideline.

The entry for Mueang Trang District should probably not be included. The specific rule is covered in the section "Partial title matches", see WP:PARTIAL: Do not add a link that merely contains part of the page title, or a link that includes the page title in a longer proper name, where there is no significant risk of confusion between them.

The entry linking to Trang, Thailand should not show up as "Trang City" in the list. The piping [[Trang, Thailand|Trang City]] is not recommended, as described in the section "Piping and redirects", see WP:DABPIPE: Apart from the exceptions listed below, piping and redirects should generally not be used on disambiguation pages. I cannot see that any of the exceptions mentioned covers this use. If it is important to include the word "city" in order to help finding the right page, that should be included in the descriptive text behind the link itself, something like [[Trang, Thailand]], city and capital of Trang province. However, a capital is usually taken to be a city, so it may be redundant.

Also, the descriptive additions "(thesaban nakhon Trang)" and "also called Mueang Thap Thiang" should not be included. The purpose of the dab page is to help people navigate to the page they are looking for. If they end up in the dab page when they are looking for the article about the city, they should be directed to the right page, where they will find the additional information. Having such additional information here will not help them easier to the right page.

Finally, the entry for "Trang River" should not be included unless you can link to an article that contains additional information about the river. The relevant section is "Red links", see WP:DABRED: A link to a non-existent article (a "red link") should be included on a disambiguation page only when a linked article (not just other disambiguation pages) also includes that red link.

@TU-nor: Mueang is romanization of Thai word "เมือง" meaning "town", so "Mueang" is the generic part as does "North" in "North Carolina". This apply to almost every capital districts in Thailand provinces. Also, people in Thailand (many times) refer Mueang Trang district to as Trang --Ans (talk) 16:24, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

@TU-nor: Without the descriptive additions "(thesaban nakhon Trang)" and "also called Mueang Thap Thiang", many Thai people including Trang people, cannot navigate to the page they are looking for. I am not quite convinced that Mueang Trang District belongs in the list. If, as you say, it is often referred to as just "Trang", it would be fine, but in that case I would expect this to be mentioned in the target article, which it is not. In that case, the entry should read something like Trang, sometimes used for [[Mueang Trang District]].

Your solution for Trang River is fine. If anything, I could suggest a piping of the bluelink like this: [[Trang River]], a river in [[Trang Province#Geography|Trang Province]].

Your arguments for including the descriptive additions does not really hold water, especially the "thesaban nakhon Trang" part. This is English Wikipedia, meant for people who understand English. If they do not know what a city is, why should they be looking for an article in English language?

Your edit summary "Trang, Thailand" is the title that ambiguous with Trang province, that article should be moved to "Trang (city)" is an argument for moving the article to a new name, but not for going against WP:DABPIPE. You may, of course, try to change the title through a "Requested move", see WP:RM, but the piping [[Trang, Thailand|Trang (city)]] is not in line with MOS:DAB unless you get a consensus for such move. --T*U (talk) 20:21, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
