I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. (edit conflict) Unfortunately Blueboy96 has blocked you in order to punish you for your exemplary reaction to being canvased off-site. [1] It seems obvious that you will be unblocked soon and can expect an apology. As you can see, this place is at times quite chaotic and we always need level-headed, mature participants, so I would be very glad if you decide to stay here in spite of this incident. Unfortunately we currently have a problem in our treatment of open source projects; a similar incident happened recently with Foswiki, so you are not alone. Last year there was a failed attempt to create a separate notability guideline for open source software; the German Wikipedia already has such a guideline. OK, I take back the word "exemplary", as it seems that you have tweeted about the first AfD. That's known as off-site canvassing and is considered a serious offence in our community because it's a threat to the wiki's consensus building mechanisms. See WP:MEAT. This is a bit surprising at first, and I guess you simply didn't know about this rule. Hans Adler 17:25, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
