[edit] Pacific Highway

I'm a little puzzled as to recent edits, especially this one to Pacific Highway (Australia). The section of John Renshaw Drive between the end of the F3 and the New England Highway is dual carriageway and it's definitely not undivided. --AussieLegend (talk) 16:03, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

That section of John Renshaw Drive is actually a single carriageway with a painted median. --Athol Mullen (talk) 16:06, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
Part of it (only about 40%) has a painted median but a significant part near the F3 has a concrete barrier and at the eastern end there's a combination of concrete and concrete/grass. --AussieLegend (talk) 17:16, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Dolly (trailer)

Re Dolly (trailer). I have never been able to understand your very personal objection to my "spam". If your reasoning be valid one would have to get rid out of Wiki all articles covering mannufacturers and companies etc. e.g., at random, Volvo Buses Volvo Buses#Acquired companies, Bombardier Transportation and Talgo as well as their corporate websites etc. etc. BTW, have a look at the following Canadian beauty: Publiquip Remorque ASETRAIL: Atelier Ste-Émilie [dead link] Asetrail Peter Horn User talk 21:16, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Infobox Australian road

Since you've done some work on road articles I thought you might be interested to know that there has been a proposal to change {{Infobox Australian road}} to {{Infobox road}} at Template talk:Infobox Australian road#Infobox conversion proposal. The proposer has changed all uses of the template based on zero objections but, as I pointed out, the reason that there have been no objections might be because that template doesn't appear to be on anyone's watchlist. If you're interested, you should probably make comment now. --AussieLegend (talk) 01:43, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi, AtholM, you are graciously extended an invitation to join the International Highways WikiProject and its new regional taskforces! The Highways WikiProject is an evolving and expanding WikiProject. We are a group of editors who are dedicated to creating, revising, and expanding articles, lists, categories, and Wikiprojects, or anything related to International Roads. This includes supporting existing regional road WikiProjects and fostering the development of new international highway WikiProjects. We have recently created five regional task forces focused on Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and Latin America.

To improve road and highway articles, here are guidelines for B class criteria. Please add any higher GA, FA quality articles to the international roads portal. Also, please help out by inviting new or unfamiliar editors with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Highways/New articles/Invite template.

We look forward to welcoming you to the project!

[edit] Mooney Mooney Bridge

I noticed last year you edited the bridges page to reflect that it was opened in 1988 .. I have to say it was 1986, otherwise my high school bus that took me down to the powerhouse museum and first state '88 in the bi-centennial year must have had wings and flew from the north side of the F3 and back again on the way home... It was opened in 1986, I think maybe you are confusing the removal of the toll in 1988 with the opening of the bridge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.169.23.48 (talk) 04:02, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
