Is there any indication that this is really a specific type of badger? Why not use your photo in the badger article instead? Friday (talk) 19:22, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Water Badger, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

This appears to be a hoax. pablomismo|\talk 19:33, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copied from the article talk page:

Google hits aren't always a good measure, but given that '"Water Badger" devon' yields no meaningful hits and "Water Badger Preservation Society" yields no hits whatosever, I'd say that it's a good sign that this article is complete bollocks. --Finngall talk 20:27, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that Google isn't always a good measure, but it is a measure, so I generally give it a try before firing up the Completebolloxometer. pablomismo|\talk 20:31, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not the place to report the discovery of a new species. We need reliable sources, not anecdotal evidence. Friday (talk) 20:30, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Badger, you will be blocked from editing. --Finngall talk 21:13, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
