The article Rafael Mercado Aced has been proposed for deletion because it lacked evidence of notability, which has since been revised by the addition of one section and then the editing of said section in response to this proposition.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

A new section was added to Rafael Mercado Aced to demonstrate notability and the {{dated prod}} was removed. Also, a reason to remove the notice was added to the Discussion section. -- August 19, 2010.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:18, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The new section was edited to Rafael Mercado Aced to further point out notability and the {{dated prod}} was removed. An additional clarification was added to the Discussion section in order to remove the notice.-- September 05, 2010. If a user insists on adding a notability flag, then please he or she should DISCUSS WHY they insist on this; since I have repeatedly answered to this topic with the most convincing arguments possible: Mercado was the first to supply a mathematical algorithm in a fast, accurate (unprecedented accuracy for such low cost) solution to position estimation at that time. How is this not noteworthy? Please refrain from simply putting flags without giving reasons; I give reasons, I supply discussion.

The article Rafael Mercado Aced has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable person
