My Talk Page[edit]

Hey, welcome to my talk page, talk away! Cheers! Babylonian Armor (talk) 01:08, 23 March 2010 (UTC) I deleted one of your "bot"s tag as I updated links. I hope I didn't commit a faux pas. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.164.73.44 (talk) 13:05, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Watercolour article[edit]

I noticed you put down the unencyclopedic tag without actually giving a reason on the talk page. Can you elaborate so we can get it fixed up? ImmersiveReality (talk) 23:05, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Adrian Provost[edit]

Hey Babylonian Armor, I noticed that Adrian Provost popped up on my watchlist, where it had been since it was deleted in an AfD discussion last year. There was a bit of a kerfluffle going on about it then as I remember, with attempts to blank the AfD, as well as the creation of about half a dozen articles about Provost's various business ventures - that's why I remember it. Anyway, I'm not quite convinced that the article as newly created is any more notable than the version that was deleted in AfD. I'm not sure what the procedure is when an AfDed article is recreated through AfC, and I definitely don't want to step on your toes, which is why I wanted to ask you whether you're really satisfied with Provost's claims to notability, in the light of the old discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adrian Provost? All the best, --bonadea contributions talk 19:52, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

I did not realize this. Thankyou for bringing this to my attention, in the future I'll be more careful when Afcing to check the article's history, if they had any. Had I known this my decision might have changed by the opinions of those who, unanimously, deleted the article. I also did not know about said kerfuffle, but if I had I am sure I would have immediately declined. When I was reviewing the article I personally felt that being the owner of a basketball team as well as being extremely young. His business ventures have received press coverage as well. Obviously I am only 1 person and my opinion is not final. Such is the issue with decisions made unilaterally as opposed to by consensus. I will stand by my decision but I encourage you to bring this back to articles for deletion to open the debate. I am very embarrassed, I did not expect an AfC to have an AfD history. Regards (Cheers! Want Anything? Chatty?)babylarm 20:09, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi again - this was all a while ago, so I didn't think you were aware of it. I agree that you wouldn't expect an AfC candidate to be a previous AfD article! Things may have happened over the last year and a half to make the man notable, especially as regards his business ventures. I'll look into it some more before doing anything. Thanks for your reply, and keep up your good work! --bonadea contributions talk 11:45, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

RTG Bond[edit]

Thanks for the comment. The RTG Bond is brand new and has not yet been picked up by the press. Any references are only going to be in the web site of its creator, Broadway Capital, or on other websites. The reason for the article was to help elucidate this new product. The cites are all related to the statements made in the body, and I worked hard to make sure I did not make any statements that were: unverifiable from independent and unbiased sources; untrue; purely opinion; or all from the same source (lack of differentiation leads to potential bias).

Please give me your feedback as I think its important to write on new developments in finance -- perhaps even ahead of the general media. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiki4robw (talkcontribs) 00:12, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
