Welcome to my humble abode.

I moved your spiking page to it's new domain. -MasTer of Puppets Peek! 19:35, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

And I have added a few builds to the Character Builds in the Guild Wars Universe article. --MasTer of Puppets Peek! 02:49, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

For the Guild Wars article, should we add in Runes? Those are kinda important. --MasTer of Puppets Peek! 18:44, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I started an Equipment in the Guild Wars Universe article. Runes can be a sub-section. --MasTer of Puppets Peek! 21:59, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

I will subsitute this with a good and proper Guild Wars barnstar as soon as I get my Photoshop warmed up. But you've been doing great work, so I bow to you. Cheers! :) --MasTer of Puppets 23:28, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Auerbachs Keller[edit]

Great choice of topic for an article! If you need help with the translation, just ask on my talk page or at the talk page of the German-speaking noticeboard. If your article is expanded beyond a stub soon, I will list it on the Portal:Germany new article announcement section, and I think it should be possible to make a nice Did you know? out of it. Thanks again, and happy editing! Kusma (討論) 04:35, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

How to delete a page[edit]

Hi! I saw this edit. Blanking a page does not delete the page; only administrators can do this properly. If you see a page in the future that you feel should be deleted, there are a few ways you can do this. If the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, then follow the directions on that page to properly tag the page so an administrator can delete it. If it doesn't meet those criteria but does meet our deletion policy, then you can either follow the directions at WP:PROD for uncontroversial deletions or WP:AFD for potentially controversial/debatable deletions.

Thanks for your edits! If you have any questions about anything else here at Wikipedia, feel free to send me a message. EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 05:36, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

NOAC 2006[edit]

I am interviewing as many arrowmen as I can find on this website and was curious as to what you think about NOAC 2006. I am also curious to find out lodge names for Wikipedia users. I'm essentially trying to meet new people on Wikipedia who share a common interest. My lodge is the Anpetu-We Lodge chartered to the Greater St. Louis Area Council. If you would like to contribute to my listing, please place it on my userpage.

Yours in Brotherhood,

Anpetu-We 23:22, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Gw classes.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gw classes.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 09:02, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

List of Forza Motorsport cars[edit]

Hi, I've just moved your sandbox into your userspace because sandboxes and subpages don't belong in mainspace. I've nominated the original page for speedy deletion as well (for equally boring and pedantic reasons!) but fear not, the page (unmodified) is now at User:Bakkster Man/List of Forza Motorsport cars for you to fiddle with at will. If you want more info (or a read to fall asleep to) take a look at WP:subpages and WP:namespace and, of course, if you need any help, just drop me a line on my own talk page. Happy editing! I've listed some sources that may help, many are from peer-reviewed journals and I can find more if needed. 71.139.39.160 (talk) 21:00, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Added template for SuggestBot[edit]

Hi,

Thanks for being one of SuggestBot's users! I hope you have found the bot's suggestions useful.

We are in the process of switching from our previous list-based signup process to using templates and userboxes, and I have therefore added the appropriate template to your user talk page. You should receive the first set of suggestions within a day, and since we'll be automating SuggestBot you will from then on continue to receive them regularly at the desired frequency.

We now also have a userbox that you can use to let others know you're using SuggestBot, and if you don't want to clutter your user talk page the bot can post to a sub-page in your userspace. More information about the userbox and usage of the template is available on User:SuggestBot/Getting Recommendations Regularly.

If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me on my user talk page. Thanks again, Nettrom (talk) 16:10, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Fender Jazz Bass[edit]

Hi Bakkster, some other great bass players are not mentioned in the article and it's a pity I think. That is why I would like to create a section of "other notable players" (testimonials... de facto). They are also amazing musicians who have done a great job during several years playing Fender Jazz Bass.--2PlayMedia (talk) 15:27, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

I don't disagree, however such a list will almost always be unmaintainable and/or excessively long. A better solution is a category, like List of Precision Bass players, otherwise we end up with personal preference of who is 'notable enough', aka which bassists do I like, or every single bassist who ever used a J-bass and it overwhelms the article. Bakkster Man (talk) 16:28, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
You can find the list I created here: [1]. --2PlayMedia (talk) 19:14, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
I would trend away from calling it 'notable' players. Is there a definite way to determine whether a player is 'notable', or will we have to argue every time someone wants to add a player who is either relatively unknown or rarely played the J-bass? Can the information be easily verified to keep people from adding players who have never recorded or performed with a J-bass? At the very least it must be cited. See more at WP:Source list. Since the 1950's on bass guitar page.[edit]

Good point about the citation for 'since the 1950's - do you think it would be better to move the citation tag to that place in the statement? Dinobass (talk) 19:52, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

I was just about to make almost exactly the same edit. Dinobass (talk) 20:37, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

re: Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Ted Nugent, you must include proper sources.

Ted Nugent[edit]

The source is already cited...incorrectly. Nugent clearly states in the interview that he recieved a 1-Y classification...not 2-S. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Makalu7 (talkcontribs) 17:10, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

OK, then add a sentence pointing out his error and cite the deferment codes. Also, don't vandalise the article by adding the term 'chickenhawk'. Bakkster Man (talk) 17:54, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

I did that originally and it was deleted. Tell whoever deleted it to stop reposting the error? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.190.23.238 (talk) 08:54, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

The first edit just needed citation, and to not be confrontational. Next time, I simply suggest not escalating and trying to make the subject look bad. Thank you for providing the reference. Bakkster Man (talk) 13:44, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

The subject has obvious credibility issues and deserves confrontation instead of weasel words like what is there now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.190.126.207 (talk) 17:22, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

There is nothing that is a WP:WEASEL word in that section. Our goal is not to confront quotes ourselves (WP:OR, WP:SYNTH) but to present both sides neutrally. Perhaps you can find a citation so we can add something like "Some have expressed doubt about this explanation due to the mismatch of deferment codes" and still be NPOV. Bakkster Man (talk) 17:39, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

well I pointed out the inconsistency by using the phrase 'consistent with the interview in High Times' and that was deleted while the phrase 'contrary to the interview' remains. Is it you who is weaseling words here and not willing to admit it? There is also the inconsistency of someone who did hundreds of concerts over the years claiming that he was also enrolled in a community college at that time. Which was mentioned and deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.191.204.138 (talk) 09:58, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

That's because we don't know which way it's consistent with the article. Did he have a student deferment and say the wrong code, or did he say the right code and say it was student deferment instead? Rather than making that assumption, we either need to let the reader decide or cite someone else who further clarifies it. Bakkster Man (talk) 15:32, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
You may want to keep an eye on the article because User:Mr Pyles recently reverted to a version by User:Makalu7 past yours. Honestly, I have almost lost track of the article and it may take a complete research/rewrite to get it back in shape. - UnbelievableError (talk) 05:45, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

David Camp[edit]

Your incessant edits to cover up the corruption and violation of the Jewish religion that your activist organization purports to uphold amounts to nothing more than vandalism. Isn't your Jewish Press the paper that incessantly praises Dr. Baruch Goldstein? Please stop or your account will be reported for vandalism. Reacespeaces (talk) 17:53, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Those accusations are unnecessary, I have honestly no idea what you're talking about. I offered to discuss it with you on the article talk page, but you have chosen to break WP:3RR instead. If you want to discuss this rationally feel free. Bakkster Man (talk) 18:15, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

User talk:24.4.67.101[edit]

I have a question regarding page blanking of unregistered users' talk pages. I've written out my mild confusion regarding the discrepancy between Wikipedia policy and what you and another editor are prioritizing. I would like corroboration on whether or not reverting such edits is the correct thing to do. I noticed that you reverted a prior instance of page blanking on that very page, so I followed your example and went ahead and undid the most recent instance of page blanking there. Is that the correct course of action? — 173.60.134.88 (talk) 01:50, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
