WRXL Userbox[edit]

I added white/yellow text to your WRXL userbox to make it easier to read. Nothing else was changed. Having blue on blue is really hard to read. Of course, you can change it back if you like. Please let me know if you would like the template I use for userboxes or I can make you a few. Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 05:07, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Scouting[edit]

I hate to start off a welcome like this, but we cannot just copy text into articles such as Blue Heron Lodge. You also cannot have non-free images on you user pages, such as the CSP and lodge flaps. If you are interested in Scouting articles, we will be glad to answer any questions. Rlevse is in Tidewater and I'm up in Stonewall Jackson. You live in Virginia Beach Virginia I see. So do I. RlevseTalk 18:59, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Blue Heron Lodge[edit]

Why did you remove the merge tags? This can be considered vandalism. RlevseTalk 02:03, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

There is no talk about this particular merge on either talk place. Where did this discussion take place? Pls reply here. RlevseTalk 04:02, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

You mean "The merge request has been removed in that it was erroneously placed in the first place. Sorry for the confusion. KC9CQJ 00:04, 27 April 2006 (UTC)" ? Thata's from almost 2 years ago. RlevseTalk 10:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

I re-nominated the article and started an appropriate discussion. --— Gadget850 (Ed) talk - 12:40, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit]

I did...right now, I am updating all the Virginia Radio Station pages with updated infoboxes and seen that WDYL had a "older" logo and updated it while I was there. I have done this on several stations, so it is nothing against you, just doing a little updating. Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • October 12, 2008 @ 22:09

I personally think the one from the website works better. Remember, you have to cite where the logo is found and the one from the site, is actually from the site. - NeutralHomerTalk • October 12, 2008 @ 22:23

WP:NICK Newsletter — October 2008[edit]

Wpnick newsletter header.png
October 2008

New homepage!

We've redesigned the home page for (hopefully) the last time for a while. If you don't like the new design, the old page is archived here. To match the new design, the newsletter's format has also been redesigned. I hope you like it!

Note about member list

As the member list seems to have gone basically stale, I have removed all members from the list and moved the member list to a page that is transcluded onto the home page. Please DO NOT add your name to the homepage! Thanks!

Sorry this issue is a bit late...

Personal obligations have overtaken my Wikipedia time, and I haven't exactly had time to send out this issue. November's issue is coming soon. I promise. :-)

Article of the month...

Every month, I choose an article that I think needs help, or is just plain interesting. This month's article is Nickelodeon Magazine.

Nickelodeon Magazine's article needs help. There are no sources. I know, for this page, it's practically impossible to get it to a FA, but let's imagine we're trying to get it to FA status. That will be a motive for us to add sources, improve the writing, etc. Let's work on this article for the wellness of it! </pep talk>

WP:NICK Newsletter — Holiday 2008[edit]

Wpnick newsletter header.png
November/December 2008

Holiday issue?!

We know you're going to be busy this holiday seasons, from ordering iPods to unboxing them. So we've decided to combine two newsletters into one: the Nickelodeon WikiProject's Holiday Newsletter. Hope you enjoy it!

Member roll call

If you were a member of WP:NICK before the relaunch, please, please, please add your name to the member list! We need as much help as we can get! We currently have 5 members, down from a previous 40+. We know some of you are still here!

Happy holidays!

I hope all of you have a safe and fun holiday season, so get outside, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! (in the Northern Hemisphere) For our Southern Hemisphere folks, get outside, and enjoy the sunshine, since it's spring/summer there!

RfC on Nick.com closed

We now have the answer on what to do with this long-lasting dispute. The community has decided to split the Nick.com section into its own article. For this reason, I have opened a sandbox here. Let's get moving so we can fix this quickly!

Slight layout changes

We have made a few layout changes, some of which are temporary. You'll notice, compared to last month's issue, that there was an image in this column. It is now gone temporarily for the holiday (double) issue. Also, we have removed the box with the delivery notice to make it less flashy (and there were div issues, if you're techie).

Article of the month

Note: This is a double issue, so we will not have an article of the month this time around. Sorry!

Have a good holiday season; see you next year!

WVBX[edit]

I appreciate the work you did on creating a new page for WVBX, but there is a problem in this. When a station changes callsigns and a page is already made, in this case WWVB-FM, we do not create a new page and then copy/paste it. It goofs up the history. We just use the move button and move it that way. This also gives you access to the "What Links Here" information so you can correct re-redirects. If you have any questions, let me know. - NeutralHomerTalk • 22:37, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Amusement Park WikiProject[edit]

Hello Bbabybear02. Recently, the Amusement Parks WikiProject was reformatted and revived. As part of this process other related WikiProjects (such as Disneyland, Herschend Family Entertainment, Universal Parks & Resorts and Walt Disney World) were also revived and have now become part of the Amusement Park WikiProject as task forces. If you would like to remain listed as a member on these WikiProjects please re-add your name to the appropriate lists at the participants page. All names currently on the list have been cleared. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you for your cooperation, Themeparkgc  Talk  08:13, 6 November 2010 (UTC).

WKUS[edit]

In the this section for the WP:MOVE rules, it says "Do not move or rename a page by copying/pasting its content." Unfortunately this is what you did with the information from WKUS (FM) to WKUS, breaking the edit history of the pages. Now, don't worry, the history has been fixed and the pages back to normal at "WKUS", but it should be noted again, please do not cut and paste any content from one page to another instead of moving. Use the "Move" function at the top of every page, or when that is not available (as in this case) go to WP:RM and an admin will take care of it. Thank you. - NeutralhomerTalkCoor. Future of WikiProject Amusement Parks[edit]

Hi Bbabybear02. I am contacting you because you are listed as one of members of WikiProject Amusement Parks or one of its task forces. I have just started a discussion on the project's talk page regarding the future of the project. I have made four proposals and I would appreciate your comments on them. Thank you Themeparkgc  Talk  23:13, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WikiProject Amusement Parks Article Clean-Up[edit]

Recently, an issue has been brought up regarding the notability of many articles within WikiProject Amusement Parks. As a result, a page has been created regarding this issue as well as a possible solution (which will be on-going). In a nut-shell, certain articles will be picked to be reviewed in each stage and the WikiProject members (you) will decide if the article should be deleted or kept based on Wikipedia's notability guidelines.

I hoping this will work and if it doesn't, oh well...I tried.

More info can be found on the linked page above.--MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:27, 21 March 2014 (UTC) Sent by Dom497
