[edit] Consideration of new C-SPAN rewrite
Hi Blackngold, thanks for your input last week on the Booknotes article. I've been making a project of researching, rewriting and proposing updates to various pages about C-SPAN, and my latest is an overhaul of Washington Journal. A proposed new draft is currently here, and I've left a short note asking for someone else to review it on the related Talk page. Since you seem interested in C-SPAN topics—your overhaul of the Brian Lamb article was a significant improvement—I thought I'd check with you first and see if you would give it your blessing, or give me some advice. Let me know when you find a moment. Cheers, WWB Too (talk) 15:43, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hello again! When I left this message, I didn't realize you had been away for awhile. I thank you for returning long enough to weigh in on Booknotes. This time, after seeking a response on the Washington Journal Talk page and again later at WikiProject Television without any response, I went ahead and made the update. If you're back on Wikipedia anytime soon, I have plans to improve a few other C-SPAN related pages, so just drop me a line if you think you could be of any help. Best, WWB Too (talk) 21:21, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
[edit] History of the Steelers
Some while back I stumbled across your SteelersSandbox and have been waiting ever since to see some of the great information contained within to show up in the History of the Pittsburgh Steelers article. Well, I've grown tired of waiting and am myself attempting to integrate this content here. As I work through this, I notice several "(Men xx)" notations in your text and I'm curious what these are references to. I haven't found any cited text that appears to match this name or the content. Any assistance you can provide in clearing up this mystery would be appreciated. Go Steelers! — DeeJayK (talk) 21:10, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply and the information. As I re-read my query, I realize I may have come off as a bit churlish. That was not my intent — I completely understand the need to take a break from WP from time to time as well as the way in which efforts that are started sometimes get sidetracked. I hope you don't mind me using your content (I assumed you wouldn't since you had it up on WP). I'll play with what I have a bit more over the next few days and loop you back in to take a look before I release it into the wild. — DeeJayK (talk) 20:53, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have incorporated the info in your SteelersSandbox into the History of the Pittsburgh Steelers article as well as the Art Rooney article. Please take a look when you get a chance. Feel free to make any corrections/additions you see fit and let me know if you have any feedback. I am continuing to work on the history article. My next task is to document the sale of the team to Alexis Thompson in 1940 and the subsequent franchise swap with the Eagles. — DeeJayK (talk) 20:55, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
[edit] CONSOL vs. Consol
I understand there has been debate in the past whether or not to capitalize the "Consol" in CONSOL Energy Center in the Wikipedia article. Throughout the entire article, the arena is referred to CONSOL Energy Center, however the title does not correspond. If the company's name is CONSOL Energy, then shouldn't the arena be named CONSOL Energy Center, and not Consol? Cheers, and Happy New Year, Belugaboycup of tea? 03:05, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
