I used to be a prolific vandal fighter. Then, I decided to try RfA. What no one ever told me was that it was pure hell if you didn't get the answers 100% right, and I mean by the book answers. So I dabbed a little into article work. I decided it wasn't my thing, and tried again. When the second RfA came around, the opposes were much more biting. Not one moral support. Hell, I had one oppose based on the orange new messages bar I used to have (which had a totally different message; even a clown like Blu Aardvark could have been able to tell the difference!). And, of course, there were much more serious opposes, based on my little tirade from the Esperanza MfD. I can sum up my actions in that in two words: Big Mistake. It's caused nothing but problems. So, after that, I decided that I had to kill my Bushcarrot persona off the internet. I contribute under a new name now (won't mention which name, for obvious reasons). Anyway, that's my story.

As you may know, the Counter-Vandalism unit is inactive. So for reviving the WikiProject, we will need to sort out the members. So if you are active, please put your username at the bottom of the list at Wikipedia talk:Counter-Vandalism Unit#Sort out the members.
