[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:InterCity Logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:InterCity Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 01:56, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response, this will be deleted in due course as the png image is being used in the article. Skier Dude (talk) 15:49, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Yann Arthus-Bertrand
Hi Calvin,
I can understand your point, now that I've checked out the what links here list. I count about half a dozen links that strictly fit the criteria on the Wikipedia page about orphans, which is more than the three links mentioned on the page as a minimum. IMO the definition of an orphaned page is a bit crazy at the moment for specialised topics, where it would be very difficult to find articles that can link to a certain page. An orphaned article used to be one with absolutely no links in the main namespace, which is a more sensible definition.
I know nothing about the subject of the article - it's just on my watchlist because of vandalism. I found it through some page on the Google Earth site, IIRC. Graham87 09:08, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Hi
Just saying hi and softly reminding you to continue to make constructive edits to Wikipedia, even if the on IRC threats of vandalism were just jokes. :) Enjoy Wikipedia! Thanks, Isabell121. (talk) 20:21, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Talk Page Vandalism
Hi, just removed a comment from your talk page which I took as being vandalism (as it was insulting and highly rude). Looking back at the posters history that also agrees with my conclusion, seeing as you made a change though after it was added and didn't remove it, If you feel my edit was wrong feel free to undo it. Take care Edw400 (talk) 20:12, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hey! Just checked the page's edit history, and I can confirm your suspicion of the attack. I had removed it a while ago but it may have re-appeared somehow. Thanks anyways :) The Toxic Mite t | c 20:26, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
