120 film photos[edit]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for the photos you added to the 120 film article. It's always good to have a photo or two to show in an article. I was just wondering why they were so dark. Could you brighten them up a bit (say, gamma 1.3)? --Imroy 19:24, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I didn't want to change it in case it was fine on other people's computers. Over-gamma-corrected photos look awful. I really should have done some reflection bounce to fill in the shadows too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Caradea (talk • contribs)

I don't have a calibrated monitor or anything, but I haven't touched the settings in years and everything looks just fine with it. So I'm assuming your photos look just as dark on other people's monitors too. Re-shooting the photos with different lighting might be a better option than turning up the gamma. Are you familiar with the sRGB color space? That's basically what you should aim for on the web. --Imroy 00:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
