Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Mr. Bob's Toddler Kaleidoscope, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Up All Night and Alex Reid (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of Harry's Law Characters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of List of Harry's Law Characters, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://watchharryslawepisodesonline.webs.com/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Your contributed article, List of Harry's Law Characters[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of Harry's Law Characters. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Harry's Law. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Harry's Law - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 01:44, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that it is already covered in another article, but that section is getting too big and there is much more information that needs to be added. So i think that this article should not be deleted for many reasonsCaringtype1 (talk) 02:21, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

April 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of General Hospital cast members did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. We do not just delete actors/characters from the cast list. And Maggie has not stopped appearing. She still has storyline with Heather/Steve/Olivia. She hasn't stopped appearing yet. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Im sorry i read she was leaving and her storyline stopped,I just assumed since she hasn't appeared in weeks that she was gone.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:17, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No. There's still an unresolved issue with her storyline on the series. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 18:38, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, just a misunderstanding.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:39, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kodi is still on the show. Soap Opera Digest has not confirmed her off-air as they do with all other characters. Until they do, she remains. And we don't just delete them from the cast list. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 02:26, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, we'll just wait until she comes back from the dead.Caringtype1 (talk) 19:55, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

She isn't coming back and soap opera characters don't die per WP:FICTION. And please don't give me attitude. I don't appreciate it. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 21:17, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, but for future reference, Soap Opera Digest is the source to use to determine if an actor is officially on or off the show?Caringtype1 (talk) 22:48, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Soap Opera Digest is an official publication, third party, which follows and qualified for WP:V and WP:CITE while remaining a third-party source. It is both a physical publication and online news site. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 23:53, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re Muppets[edit]

Hi again C: Here's the mail! [1] Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 20:11, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Caringtype, I've seen your edits to some of the Muppet character articles, especially to Beauregard (Muppet). I'd tell you to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia policies and with the WP:MOS, but I suspect that you'd just ignore me as you've ignored others (on this very talk page) that have suggested the same. For example, you add absolutely no citing to Bo's article and some of the grammar is incorrect. I don't have the time or desire to work on these articles at this time, so I'm unwatching them and letting them go. Do what you want to them, since I suspect that you'll do it, anyway, regardless of policies or correct English usage. It's unfortunate, because you obviously enjoy contributing to WP, but you don't seem to listen to feedback that tells you that they're not constructive and should be corrected. Good luck to you nonetheless. 17:58, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk)

I have not added any information to any of the articles, yet, and I've haven't checked their grammar yet either, so if the grammar is incorrect, it was done by someone else. I just briefly starting working on them and i don't see how adding section headings are not constructive. i haven't added any references, since I plan on doing research to make sure they have good information that will improve the articles. So thank you for taking the time to look at the articles. I'll be continuing with the articles, and I'm going to improve them, regardless of policies, Im too busy too "familiarize myself with".Caringtype1 (talk) 18:31, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I looked closer at Bo's article and found that you had made only cosmetic changes. I misspoke, out of some concerns I had. Your response, though, continues to concern me, with the grammar errors and the disregard for the policies here. Just this morning I learned about the nifty dab solver tool, which I had never seen before and which I'll use in the future. That's one of the great things about WP; you're always learning, whether it's about improving your writing skills, or new information about the articles you write and improve, or even about WP policies. In my experience, WP policies make me a better writer and a better citizen here. They also help me create better articles, which is really what they're all about. I'm just sayin'! ;) Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 16:25, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I started to read some of the policies, and they are more helpful than I thought they would be. I will continue to read and follow the policies, thank you.Caringtype1 (talk) 16:50, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well good, glad to hear it. I've found that I learn them better as I use them. I've also found that folks around here are really good about helping you use them if you ask. Let me know how I can help. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 18:10, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Community Season 3 DVD cover[edit]

Sorry, but I'm somewhat baffled as to why you would undo my edits of the DVD cover twice, for no reason. You can't find a source? Did you even look? Can you not see the reference in the infobox that leads to the official Sony press release for the DVD set? Did you even both looking at the file page which has all the information you need to know. It's not some random IP editor adding some homemade image to the page. Do your homework first before calling my edits "vandalism". Thank you. Drovethrughosts (talk) 18:20, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For all i know, it is vandalism. Maybe not by you, but by someone else. I did my research and found sources that I Know can be unreliable, from dealing with them in the past. I feel that we should have waited until NBC to tell us, when the dvd is being released, and what the cover looks like.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:33, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but what are you talking about? Vandalism by someone else...who? NBC is not the one to tell you. Sony is, because they have the rights to the DVDs. Did you even look at the link, it's the official press release by Sony about the DVD set. Wow. Moving on, this is a ridiculous discussion. Drovethrughosts (talk) 20:58, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The only "inappropriate activity' would be by you leaving these condescending messages on my talk page. they aren't helpful, Im aware of what Im doing, and Im doing for a reason.Caringtype1 (talk) 02:12, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was inappropriate for you to edit someone else's comment, and it is also inappropriate for you to argue about it. Since you claim that you know what you are doing, and doing it purposefully, we are not able to assume ignorance of guidelines or policy on your part. The appropriate guidelines, as you are already aware, are at Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines, so I suggest you re-read that before arguing with us. And the template AussieLegend posted is one of many carefully-worded, neutral templates that are the accepted way to notify someone of a perceived problem. If you feel that it was condescending, it is not AussieLegend's fault, but personally, I see neutral, polite wording there. Elizium23 (talk) 02:25, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lola Bunny[edit]

ALL cartoon character articles use the "last appearance" field to indicate their last, i.e. most recent appearance. DO not remove it again. MikeWazowski (talk) 20:22, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh really ALL cartoon characters use it, well what about Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Papa Smurf, and countless others? Its incorrect! The "last appearance" field is only used when a character is no longer apart of the current franchise.

And don't come to my talk page and write some rude message that makes you seem like an immature jerk. Be polite and respectful and make your point clear, otherwise you are wasting your time.Caringtype1 (talk) 20:31, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Maxie's stay[edit]

Maxie's history was stopped when she was off-screen for nearly a month. Lilley stopped portrayed her early August, and Storms returned early September. There was a pause where the character was portrayed by no one. So that's why she stopped from 2005–12. That's why that is there. livelikemusic my talk page! 19:49, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually there was never a period of time when Maxie was off the show. When it was announced that Jen Liley was leaving the role, they also announced the Kristen Storms would be returning, there was never a waiting period when no one portrayed the character. "Duration" should be used for when a character is no longer with the show, for the foreseeable future. Tony Geary takes several vacations where doesn't appear for months at a time, but that doesn't mean we say he was off the show.Caringtype1 (talk) 19:54, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's because Tony Geary's exits are paid vacations. Lilley's departure left the character with zero portrayer for a specific amount of time. The character was off-screen during a major summer storyline, and only re-appeared when she was re-written in with Storms returning into the role. There was a waiting period, as she wasn't seen on-screen. When Lilley took the role over, she appeared immediately. That didn't stop the portrayal of Maxie, but the near-month downtime did provide Maxie will no portrayer for several weeks. livelikemusic my talk page! 19:57, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Saying she was off the show is completely false information because fit isn't true. she didn't appear for a few weeks, but she was still on the show. Whatever I don't have the time to continue arguing my point, i going to leave it at that, if you want to change it back, i won't stop you.Caringtype1 (talk) 20:00, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The character was off the show. She was known in-town, but no one portrayed her on-screen from August (when Lilley left) to September (when Storms returned). I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just trying to explain why I made the change. You're the one who believes it's an argument. I'm trying to come to you, adult to adult, and talk the situation out with involving an edit-war. livelikemusic my talk page! 20:11, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of General Hospital characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jonathan Jackson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Apogies,[edit]

Hey there, Apologies for the edit I made on Chicago Fire (TV series), it was more aimed at AdamDeanHall to make a point as he has for a few weeks now, as you have probably seen, been going back and forth on the Arrow (TV series) page taking down "Initial Ratings" calling them "Bogus" and yet is quite happy to add them to another series. Wont happen again. MisterShiney (Come say hi) 23:23, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, you really have to examine to the reference to tell the difference, so it's a very easy mistake for anyone to make. Bu that editor has really been trying to prove a point lately! I don't see why, though, what's the big deal about adding initial ratings?Caringtype1 (talk) 23:57, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Duke and Anna's marriage[edit]

It still exists, even though he's been believed to be dead for years. If said person is still alive, the marriage is still considered legal. So Anna/Duke are still married. livelikemusic my talk page! 00:49, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure about that? Duke died in the eyes of the law, so wouldn't their marriage be dissolved anyway? Anna remarried several times, so would that make those marriages invalid? It's a tricky situation, but Duke was believed dead for over twenty years, so I would think they are no longer married.Caringtype1 (talk) 01:14, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Her marriages post-Duke would be deemed illegal and invalid. They're married. Even when "Duke" returned, it made them married. Especially if the death certificate was revoked. They're still bound by their marriage to each other. livelikemusic my talk page! 01:16, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not so sure about that, but I can't prove otherwise, so I leave it alone.Caringtype1 (talk) 01:54, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's how I've seen it happen before. So I think it's safe to say they are married, especially since both Duke/Fiason and Anna have said they're married. livelikemusic my talk page! 02:24, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page[edit]

Please do not interrupt talk page discussions I start with others - at least in my experience I have been told this is an inappropriate practice. Those that do are usually between co-editors who use the "talk page stalker" etc template, acknowledging the interruption. Further, I did not appreciate your comment that I am a harsh editor. My comments were simply to the point and a further explanation on the edit summaries I had provided at the article in question. The user in question was repeatedly reverting edits without explanation, even when told about guidelines. But that is besides the point, if you felt the editor needed help and more information you could have started a new section with a welcome template, rather than jumping into a conversation that was between me and that editor, and giving your opinion on my comments. The editor may not have even thought my comments were harsh had you not called them so. Thank you. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 22:02, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't against Wikipedia policy to join talk page discussion between other editors. I'm not really sure what you mean by "inappropriate", but it is a little rude, but I know that. I have noted that it is against your personal policy, and won't to it to any discussion started by you to another user again. I didn't directly call you a harsh editor. Although I can see why it was interpreted as that. I just simply meant your (and several other editors) were being a tad harsh to a new contributor. Their edits were in good faith, and I just wanted to tell that editor that not all of WIkipedia is that unwelcoming, without doing a whole welcome section, that i really don't have time for right now.Caringtype1 (talk) 22:10, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is not against my "personal policy" in general, but in that situation I did not find it appropriate. Especially if your comment was regarding not just my own, but others on the page. If your comment wasn't to me personally, then yes I did misunderstand, but I still do not agree with being part of the group called harsh. The reverting in that article had gotten past the point of good faith, and I think the warnings on the page further show it was not an isolated incident. My note was me taking time out to give a further explanation to avoid more edit wars, and I believe your added comment shed a bad light on what I was trying to do. And - commenting in a new section takes the same amount of time as commenting in an existing section. Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 22:21, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tyler Michaelson character article???[edit]

Hey. I started a discussion on whether the character of Tyler Michaelson merits his own article. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.--Nk3play2 my buzz 21:26, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
