Dear colleague--In my judgment as an administrator here, the article on West Fargo Public Library is exceedingly unlikely to be considered suitable for wikipedia--all similar articles have been unfailingly deleted. However important librarians like us think libraries to be is not the point-- that's what the consensus here is. See WP:ORG--you basically need to show notability demonstrated by references from outside 3rd party published sources, and almost no small city library like this actually can do it, unless they've won some sort of a national-level award. I could send it to AfD, where it will quickly be deleted, but I can instead merge a mention into the article for the city. There will still be a link from the library name going there. OK? Speedy deletion nomination of North dakota library association[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on North dakota library association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. --Animalparty-- (talk) 03:29, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Your contributed article, North dakota library association[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, North dakota library association. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – North Dakota Library Association. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at North Dakota Library Association – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. 220 of Borg 12:47, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Edit summaries[edit]

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe the changes you have made)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.

Suggestions[edit]

I also suggest that you take a look at My first article and notability. --220 of Borg 13:06, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited North Dakota Library Association, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Members (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi[edit]

You left in the middle of the confirmation of something. Remove the list of Presidents unless you can prove some of them are notable enough to have articles on Wikipedia or are well known, otherwise, if these issues aren't resolved. Your article will be deleted.Danger^Mouse (talk) 12:24, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi for your awards, add sources to the ones you havent, without references, then remove them. Danger^Mouse (talk) 05:06, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
