Please try and include an edit summary, even if it's short so I can glance at the edit history with ease. Also make sure you always sign your comments. If they are not signed, I may remove them as soon as I see them, unless I'm in an exceptionally good mood!
Please do not leave Talkback templates on this talk page. I am watching everything that I comment on. The only exception is that you leave a comment for me somewhere where I haven't recently contributed or if I haven't replied to your message within 48 hours. I may leave a TB template on your page if you haven't indicated that you don't wish to have them there. I may remove TB templates or place a line through them and may not reply to your message (unless it's really important and then I may consider replying!). Thanks.
If I left you a message: please answer on your talk page, as I am watching it.
If you leave me a message: I will answer on my talk page, so please add it to your watchlist.
Please make comments at the top of the Shoutbox. It's like an IM window.
Above is a shoutbox where smaller comments and rapid notifications are posted. Comments here may be erased within a short time (perhaps a day or week).
Edit this talk page and look for the big shoutbox arrow at the top, showing where to add your message, which should be top-posted.
This useful tool avoids the flooding of talk pages with trivial messages needing eventual archival, and makes real-time collaboration easy. Because it is on the user talk page, you receive automatic immediate notification of a new message.
Hello Chip, I wonder if you could help: I've recently been taking a turn at recent changes patrol using Twinkle. Several times I've made a report to AIV but find it difficult to fill in the new & old revision numbers on the report form. Do you know of a quick way to enter these numbers? Or how critical is it to fill them in? With thanks in advance: Noyster(talk), 12:22, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
