Candleabracadabra[edit]

Hi Coffee--ouch, this reminds me I've only had one cup today. Need fix. Anyway, Candle is occasionally editing his talk page. My kneejerk reaction is to remove TPA, and I have more faith in your objectivity. I don't think he has a right to be engaging in content conversations, even if they're soliloquies. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 16:08, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Tyler Benson[edit]

Hi there, I'd like to propose Tyler Benson's article to be reinstated. The article was deleted back in January 2014, failing general notability guidelines. Given the following reliable, non-routine, secondary sources, I'd like to take on creating the article.

Please let me know how I should proceed. Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 00:47, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

Orlandkurtenbach: I would love to handle this issue, but I'm currently "out of the office" if you will - for a while. If you feel that this article can be reinstated now, given the sources above, I suggest you open another AFD on it to see if the community agrees. Jacqui Irwin[edit]

Hi! You had closed this AfD back in 2012 as delete due to non-notability when she was a local city councilmember. She has now been elected to the California State Assembly and will take office on December 1, which fulfills WP:POLITICIAN.

While as an admin I can simply undelete the page and create a new article from scratch, I thought it would be better if you signed off on it first. Hope I can get your input soon! --Kurykh (talk) 05:35, 26 November 2014 (UTC)

As a non-admin, I cannot see what the article contains. So I don't know if it is of any value as a building block for the new article. However, as she takes a seat in the assembly, the article is well overdue. It should have been activated during the election months ago, but a failed AfD has the affect of salting an article, even though it is not explicit policy. I'd like to see it. Since I can't watch a nonexistent article, please let me know when you have activated it. Trackinfo (talk) 08:13, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
Since she takes office, I invoked WP:IAR (in the spirit of WP:RECREATE), restored the article, and overhauled it to match current events. Virtually nothing from the deleted version was used, but I left it in the history. --Kurykh (talk) 05:42, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
