Good lord, that was fast, I didn't even close the window yet!!! Oh, and thank you. Crimsonraptor (talk) 22:03, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Hello[edit]

I have just created a wikipedia account! Toothless99! I thought I'd say hello. --Toothless99 (talk) 16:31, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Glad you could make it over here. Since I know you're a dinosaur fan, you can check out WikiProject Dinosaurs. It's a cool place. Crimsonraptor (talk) 17:33, 31 October 2010 (UTC) Or Styracosaurus Rider ;)

Hello Styracosarus Rider, so you're here to. Good, lets make Wikipedia the best information database together!Mismeret (talk) 15:50, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Help![edit]

Hi, Crimsonraptor (or Styracosaurus Rider as on Wikia), I was recently blocked on Walking with Dinosaurs Wiki, for an unknown reason, can you unblock me? --24.160.148.166 (talk) 12:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC) P.S My account is Disney14ph12

Well, the account Disney14ph12 isn't currently blocked, nor is the IP that you signed with here. Could you tell me approximately when your last edit was? I'll try and see what happened. Crimsonraptor (talk) 15:37, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

my last edit on the WWD wiki was November 28, 2010, but actually all my accounts cant get on any wiki, my IP address was blocked, please help I miss editing! --24.160.148.166 (talk) 12:10, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

I tried blocking then unblocking you on the WWD wiki. Did that help at all? Can you edit there now? Crimsonraptor (talk) 18:49, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

No, sorry, I think you need to unblock my IP address. or just change the block to only 3 days because my block is infinity (forever block) right now. --24.160.148.166 (talk) 20:58, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Whenever I try to unblock it says "Error: Block ID not found. It may have been unblocked already." I tried instead a reblock for 2 hours. Let's see what happens. Crimsonraptor (talk) 21:07, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

ok, lets hope that works!, oh and forgot to tell you I created an account on here! Visit my user page here too! --RaptorZangle20 (talk) 14:17, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

er... help?[edit]

I am trying to create a new page but I'm not good at Wikipedia formatting. Do ya think you could come over and help? Toothless99 (talk) 20:23, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

I haven't read that book, but formatting here is much like that on Wikia. The double brackets do links, create templates with {{ thingies, italic, bold, and italic bold with the ' stuff, etc. Crimsonraptor (talk) 23:39, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Important News About Amber[edit]

U mad? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.96.3.69 (talk) 00:41, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Please do not pay attention to the above comment. The guy's a vandal from Wikia that, frankly, is getting a bit annoying.

Again, same guy as above.

Taxobox[edit]

Hi! Jialingpus isn't a taxon, but a form taxon, so it gets a different kind of taxobox. Unfortunately I don't know much about ichnoclassification but I'll get it started at least. MMartyniuk (talk) 03:15, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Ok, thanks though! Crimsonraptor | (Contact me) Dumpster dive if you must 13:45, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles assessment drive[edit]

At WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles, in which you are listed as a member, we're working on a pretty massive backlog (1000+ articles!) of unassessed articles. We would appreciate it greatly if you would help assess the articles in the link. It's simple to do!

  1. Read over the article.
  2. On the discussion page, look for the {{AARTalk}} template. Add in a "class" and "importance" parameter if the template does not have them already. Example: {{AARTalk|class= |importance= }}
  3. For the class, fill in the article's quality using the WikiProject's quality scale: stub, start, C, B, GA, A, or FA. Most unassessed articles will probably be stubs or start class articles, and definitely B or lower.
  4. For the importance, fill in the article's importance to the WikiProject using the importance scale: low, mid, high, or top. Most unassessed articles will probably be low or mid importance.
  5. Then you're done!

It's not a difficult task, but there's a lot to get done. Our hope is that we can chip through the backlog and assess every article within the auspices of the project. Thanks, bibliomaniac15 00:31, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

OK! I'll get to it ASAP. Crimsonraptor | (Contact me) Dumpster dive if you must 01:14, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Thanks![edit]

more to come, I hope - now I just need to earn them ;) HMallison (talk) 00:14, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

No problem. Nobody had done that yet, and I figured you could deserve it :D Crimsonraptor | (Contact me) Dumpster dive if you must 00:18, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
and thanks again - I know I really should get going with the Giraffatitan and Brachiosaurus and "Prosauropod" and Kentrosaurus and Elaphrosaurus and Dicraeosaurus and - oh, all those pages. :( HMallison (talk) 08:09, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Just tell me if you need any help with those pages! Crimsonraptor | (Contact me) Dumpster dive if you must 12:37, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Nuclear Bomb[edit]

Why are you making a Nuclear Bomb to blow up Wikia? Why don't you vandalise it with graffiti? Then blow it up! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.96.0.230 (talk) 22:34, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Basically, ignore any guy with the 203.96 IP. It's always him.

FOR THE LAST TIME![edit]

Largest Ceratopsian[edit]

Hi Crimsonraptor, the sources I have place both Eotriceratops and Triceratops at the same maximum length of ~9m. Since they're about the same size and Triceratops is better constrained in terms of body proportions since there are complete specimens, I think it's safer to stick with it until further data requires a switch. Note that the 9m is presumably measured along the length of the entire spine when in a stright-line pose, so the actual profile will be less than 9m. Also I've found when doing these that most estimates must overguess the length of the tail, because when scaled to known skull length, ceratopsians always come up a half-meter short or so when restored with correct tail lengths. This is why the existing Triceratops comes out to only 8 solid meters, even though the skull is based directly on the largest known specimen (a ~9m individual). MMartyniuk (talk) 00:41, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

?[edit]

What are you trying to say? There's nothing of interest regarding my plans to be found here. Be gone with you, "Crimsonraptor." Pinguinus (talk) 19:38, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

You can, but you won't find anything. Pinguinus (talk) 19:50, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

That is none of your business. Go away you annoying dromeosaur. :P Pinguinus (talk) 20:23, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
