Orphaned non-free media (File:Megabusplus Logo.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Megabusplus Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 13:15, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

The Consulting Association blacklist article[edit]

Hi there,

I hope this is the right / best way to send you a message. I'm doing so because I've just make a fair-sized edit to the Consulting Association article, which we both edited yesterday.

I thought it needed a good clean up to make the article more cohesive and readable - I've tried to maintain and respect your edits, but I ended up writing several hundred words, so they may have got lost in the noise.

I don't really understand why you made the edits you did about it being a "business" not an "organisation" - I'd be really grateful if you could clarify on the talk page if you know more than I do. I've spent several hours last night reading newspaper articles and parliamentary reports, and I have no reason to believe that Kerr "owned" or controlled TCA - it just seems like a legal structure established by McAlpine or all the construction companies in order to mutually fund the blacklisting scheme.

Also, I'm freakin' knackered, but I don't think that the Droitwich location of Kerr's office is so important as to warrant inclusion in the opening paragraph of the article.

Thanks for your help,

Manchester Sport and Leisure Trust[edit]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Manchester Sport and Leisure Trust, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.manchestersportandleisure.org/about-us.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 15:01, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of UTC@MediaCityUK[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article UTC@MediaCityUK has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:TOOSOON - wait until the institution opens. If the institution will not offer the equivalent of a United States "High school diploma" or the equivalent of a bachelor's or higher degree, consider that as grounds to not have the article even after the school opens unless additional evidence of notability is provided.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 01:48, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of List of bus routes in Greater Manchester[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of bus routes in Greater Manchester, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. -→Davey2010→→Talk to me!→ 13:40, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

James Cook station[edit]

According to their blog, James Cook is not just a shortening of it although they are relying on another blog so I might have been rather hasty but here is where I read it. Simply south ...... discombobulating confusing ideas for just 8 years 16:33, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Autopatrolled[edit]

Wikipedia Autopatrolled.svg

Hi Crookesmoor, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled right to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! —Tom Morris (talk) 13:35, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

2014 National Rail ticket features[edit]

Hi – in due course I'll expand this with further sources I have access to. I have added it to my watchlist. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 13:06, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

Yes, I'll scan one from my collection and upload. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 13:10, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
Yep, good thinking: I will put together an alternative version and run it past you. There are several other articles within the scope of such an infobox but which haven't been created yet; I will include these as redlinks. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 17:10, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
As I was pondering this last night, it crossed my mind that a general article covering features/data/layout of computer-era tickets might be good. I will reuse an old sandbox, User:Hassocks5489/Phillips, to put together some ideas. I can dig out references. Also will put that new infobox design there. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 11:41, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
I should have a chance to start some proper work on these articles over the weekend – this week was busier than expected! Regarding the proposal at User:Hassocks5489/Phillips, this may be a slow-burn while I gather sources, but I will continue to tinker with it. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 00:03, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

New articles[edit]

You don't just cut a chunk out of an article and start a new one with it. At the very least you should say where it came from. J3Mrs (talk) 14:27, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Attendance Allowance may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
