Hello DITWIN GRIM. You may remember that we both worked on the article that you created relating to the African Light Infantry. I am sorry to see that you have withdrawn from Wikipedia. As a French editor with an extensive knowledge of military history and excellent written English you had a great deal to offer. I hope that you eventually reconsider your decision. Regards. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Question on Chateau de Vincennes and Pierre Daumesnil[edit]

I am sorry to see that you appear to have withdrawn from Wikipedia. However, I shall still post this here, as a mark of your hard to replace contribution.

I managed to locate you as the author of the following change.

Revision as of 07:02, 26 August 2011 (edit) (undo) (thank) DITWIN GRIM (talk | contribs) (Pierre Yrieix Daumesnil)

There is in this change a mention to a polysemic pun in the French language, which is lost in translation (per your comment). I wondered if you could please elaborate or provide a reference. It is such small things that become the salt of history and the article is now lacking without it.

Thank you in advance for your possible time,
