[edit] Champs on WWE roster page
There is a reason we don't list champs on the roster page, they are already on the WWE page and on each individual brand page. For more info, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling. --James Duggan 00:32, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WWE roster
Your edit summary: added Chloe. She's on the superstars page so why not?
-
- It was already decided long ago when the dog was first added to the superstars page that Chloe was to not be added. Please do not readd Chloe. Besides, this roster is for people who are contracted to WWE, not animals and dogs cannot be contracted to WWE so don't readd Chloe, ok? — Moe Epsilon 20:02 August 21 '06
[edit] Mr. Kennedy
His name is "Mr. Kennedy", not "Mr. Ken Kennedy". TJ Spyke 07:25, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- This should be obvious, since everytime he does his entrance...he says Mister Kennedy. In my opinion, one of the best things on Smackdown right now. RobJ1981 20:35, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Grow up already about the issue. It's not a big deal, and as you can see no one else really cares if Ken is listed or not. RobJ1981 16:06, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Dewey Larson.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Dewey Larson.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 19:05, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maryse
This is different, she just made an appearance because she was in front of her hometown crowd. So that doesn't mean she officially debuted, she just made an appearance. And no if a wrestler appears on TV that doesn't mean they are moved to the main roster
JustMaria 19:39, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
well, see MVP is making constant appearances so he is good in the Other-On Air Talent. Now for Maryse we are not sure if she officially debuted, we are going to have to wait and see if she makes other appereances on Smackdown!, if she does then we will move her to the main roster, but as of right now she is under the Inactive list under the OVW section
JustMaria 21:44, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
EXACTLY Go read what BionicWilliams said in the history tab, she wasn't mentioned on wwe.com.
See I was right and you were wrong.
One more thing, please sign your comments, you should know that already
JustMaria 21:57, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
I just think we sould wait just to safe. Francine is a totally different case, since see just redebuted (with here first debut rettconned) a Balls Mahoney Valet and has been active at house shows. Maryse just did a promo. It really doesn't matter to me, I just don't want a revert war between good editors. Leave me out of it please if you continue. BionicWilliam 22:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
I can't unstand French but it might have been a debuting promo like Cryme Tyme is having. So thats why I said lets wait. Leave me out of this please if you or JustMaria continue to fight. BionicWilliam 22:34, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Mike_Posey.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Mike_Posey.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:39, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Norman Smiley+Shark Boy
They have teamed 2 times in the past few months, that's not a regular team of any sort. RobJ1981 12:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Chris DeJoseph
I deleted the article as it was recreated material that was previously deleted (3 other times) by concensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chris DeJoseph. The link provided will tell you why the article was deemed unnecessary for the encyclopedia. We have certain standards on notability to maintain. Keep up work on other related articles though! Teke (talk) 23:07, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Chris has appeard more and more ofetn on WWE Programing as "Big Dick Johnson" a male stripper. He needs to be re-added back to Wikipedia.
[edit] Snitsky/Kennedy
I've created a post on the talk page of World Wrestling Entertainment roster about it. This issue needs to get settled. You and TJ reverting and editing, back and forth doesn't solve anything. RobJ1981 22:21, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in World Wrestling Entertainment roster. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. — Moe 22:50, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- Well revert warring is not going to help anything. If you really want to help, I suggest cooling off and stop reverting for now. I am about to post of the WWE roster talk page were this might come to an end. Thank you! — Moe 22:58, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] January 2008/WWE Roster
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to World Wrestling Entertainment roster, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Read it correctly....Three established WP:PW members agreed to cut the list of the talent relations. If you revert again you will be in violation of the 3RR rule. TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 17:43, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
-
-
- Yes but more people must agree to revert. What's the vote here? 4:1...unless more people agree with you on putting them back then the roster page will remain as is. The purpose of that conversation was for the removal of the corporate people because the article should only list the "roster", which are wrestlers and on-air talent. Do you understand?--TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 18:45, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Alright but see the people at WT:PW have more experience on Wikipedia, not saying that you are not a experienced, but we have more knowledge about the way Wikipedia runs and how professional wrestling articles/lists should look like. Look at the TNA Roster, that page is perfect. The WWE Roster should look like that because it only lists the wrestlers and on air talent. But if it makes you feel any better I will inform ppl about it on the talk page of the roster page.TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 18:56, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Reply about Colin Delaney
Wikipedia isn't a match by match guide to wrestlers. Just because he has only worked a few matches, doesn't mean everything is notable for inclusion for the article. If (or when) he does notable things, then his article should be expanded. I'm pretty sure I didn't revert anything by you lately, unless one of the IP editors I reverted was you. I suggest that you stop using it, as that looks like a form of sockpuppetry in my view. RobJ1981 (talk) 18:18, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Mike Posey
An editor has nominated Mike Posey, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mike Posey and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 11:29, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Clumsysmurf.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Clumsysmurf.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it may be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 13:18, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter message
It has recently been brought to the attention of WP:PW that the newsletter is being to delivered to several users who have not been actively editing for several months. As a result, their talk pages have become increasingly large, unmanageable and slow to load due to a lack of archiving.
In response, this message is being sent to all editors listed in Category:WikiProject Professional wrestling participants to say that anyone who does not list their name at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active before May 16 will be automatically listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Nospam, and will no longer receive the newsletter or any notification of it. If you are added to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Nospam, please feel free to remove your name if you desire.
If you wish to continue receiving the newsletter as normal, please add your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active. If you simply wish to receive notification of a new issue, but not have the full newsletter delivered to your talk page, please add your name to the notification only list.
If you have any queries please contact me at my talk page or leave a message at WT:PW. Thank you for your co-operation. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 00:36, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

- As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of June 6, we are at 7.67%, with 375 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
- Based on the members list, there are currently 246 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.
