Wikipedia[edit]

Hi Daisy, can you please clarify your intentions here on Wikipedia? Are you here to contribute to articles and help write an encyclopedia? I ask because you seem to be here only to make friends and socialise, which is not what Wikipedia is for. With your last account you made only ten minor edits to articles and the rest were chatting to other people. This account has five minor article edits and the rest seem to be geared at finding friends and socialising. Also, you say on your userpage that your previous account was discontinued, is this Daisy13103 (talk · contribs) or another account? Daisy13103 is not blocked but if you have another previous account that was blocked, you shouldn't be using a new account and instead should go back to the previous one and ask for it to be unblocked. If you aren't interested in writing articles and just want to socialise, then you need to use facebook or myspace or something similar that is actually intended to be used for that purpose. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and nothing else. If you continue using the account just for socialising I will have to block it. I don't want to do that as I can see that you don't mean any harm but it is the rules of this website; it's an encyclopedia and "talk" and "discussion" pages are provided primarily for discussing contents of articles, not for socialising and we can't allow people to continue editing here if they aren't working on articles and are editing nearly exclusively on talk pages. If you registered an email address for your other account, you can go onto the login page and request the software send you a new password so you can get back into your account. Either way, you need to start focusing on articles and not on socialising or you'll end up being blocked because Wikipedia isn't a social networking site but a project to build an encyclopedia.
