March 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Maximalism because it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 08:43, 10 March 2014 (UTC) can someone please, tell me what is inappropriate about confirming a fact?! thanks dear wikipedia editor. it is easily obvious for anyone who knows and is involved with the arts to track dates and find out this issue of and about who has founded the movement maximalism starts in 1988 and not 10 years later written by authors and .............................are now happily so many more and active under maximalism. i wrote to you a factual statement about my maximalism and of course i be happy to write the whole manifest to you if needed but why don,t you ask yourself why my name "daryush shokof" is at all affiliated with the term maximalism?! is this a false remark?! am i just wantig to associate myself with a movement by other?! am i sick in the head?! need fame or your recognition?! is there any lines from your side confirming you know truly all about what maximalism is all about? can i please have it? it is not at all important who starts what and where and why and[reply]

........

but it is absolutely wrong for all the wrng reasons to credit wrong people for things they have not done yes my dear editor, you are wrong. absolutely wrong. and we "many associates" and i have just tried to state a fact what this thoughts of maximalism of "mine" who actually is the true "founder" of maximalism is all about. all i care from my side is not even important to have anything written about me in wikipedia as my contribution to the arts and...;whatever are just so little, i am all too honored to have even been there. however, just like all those small contributions this one can also be noted or all together i would be most happy to be out of the wikipedia for good. this will be the last remark i would make over such an issue as life has much other activities in mind for me than to keep writing you back and forth. all the best tou have a great day daryush

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Maximalism. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.
Your edit here to Maximalism was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://ecoline-paintings.blogspot.de/2012/08/painting-styles.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
