Glen hills primary school[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Glen hills primary school, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://glenhills.co.uk/schools.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 00:15, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

February 2010[edit]

Stop hand nuvola.svg Your addition to Glen Hill Primary School has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. – Toon 23:36, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Glen Hills Primary School[edit]

Hi. The best course of action would be to get the copyright holder to email permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org from an email address associated with the school. The material needs to be released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License and the GFDL - note that we cannot accept wikipedia-exclusive licenses. There is a template for a permission email at Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries, which would satisfy our requirements. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information.

An editor with access to our email system will respond (hopefully within a week, but remember that our whole project is run by volunteers in their free time) and the article should be restored once satisfactory permission has been received. There may still be issues with the text that need to be addressed in order to bring the article in line with Wikipedia policies; most likely our neutral point of view policy and notability guideline. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:01, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:MissEmillyLadybird.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:MissEmillyLadybird.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Jema Hewitt[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Jema Hewitt has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article lacks any evidence of third-party sources and has been tagged for notability for a year and a half. Subject does not appear to meet WP:GNG or WP:AUTHOR.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SudoGhost 12:53, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
