Your recent edit to Super Bowl VII[edit]

You might want to cite your source for your recent addition to the Super Bowl VII article. The popular view is that the NFL blacked out each and every game locally. So if the blackout was lifted during that day as an experiement, you should provide proof that it was the case. Please see our guidelines on how to cite sources on how to do so. Thanks. Change to Super Bowl XVIII[edit]

K-25 (Kansas highway)[edit]

A tag has been placed on K-25 (Kansas highway), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 172.151.149.240 05:44, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edits to the Bear Bryant article.[edit]

Do you have sources for the Mitchell and Wallace info? Also, your change stating that Bryant spent the night at DCH and then suffered his heart attack the next day contradicts the sources used in the article which states that he visited the hospital on the 25th for a check-up, left, and then returned the next day before suffering the heart attack. If this is wrong, please find a source which says otherwise and possibly submit it in a discussion. Thanks! -- LS Shoals (talk) 11:18, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Your comments on Atta article[edit]

Hi! I saw your comments on Talk:Mohamed Atta, and thought I'd give you a little friendly feedback. Per the WP:CIVIL policy, comments on Wikipedia are generally supposed to be at a high level of civility. As such, it's is generally considered inappropriate to swear excessively. It's also considered inappropriate to write in all caps, as this is usually the internet equivalent of shouting. As such, I believe it would be beneficial if you edited your own comments to make them more calm and civil. Regarding your actual concern, while it is certainly true that the actions of Atta and others are condemned by the vast majority of people, and that that most people (myself included) find their acts despicable, that does not mean that we should not have encyclopedia articles on them. By definition, encyclopedias collect information on all notable people, good or evil. For example, would it make any sense to have an encyclopedia without Josef Stalin or Adolph Hitler, people usually considered far worse than Atta? The fact is that Atta's horrid actions had a tremendous impact on the world; as such, it is our responsibility to make that information available. This does not mean that the encyclopedia condones Atta's actions in any way, merely that he is notable enough to deserve an entry here. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:48, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

October 2010[edit]

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Mohamed Atta. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Jojhutton (talk) 03:11, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

New Kansas Governor[edit]

What was the point of your all caps rant in the edit reason box on the Kansas page? Brownback became governor just a few short hours before your edit was made. It would've gotten changed sooner or later and did not require someone basically yelling at other editors to "get it right" "now". Bhall87Four Scoreand Seven 21:00, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Deidre Hall, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 19:23, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

I just reverted similar material on Jay Dardenne and Dave Treen. You simply cannot add information about living people without providing good, strong sources. This is especially true in the case of the info you added to Dardenne, which asserted legal convictions against another person. WP:BLP says this must be sourced--it's not like other info, where you can add it to an article and have someone tag it for future addition of a citation. Also, make sure your additions are neutral; words like "unabashed" do not meet WP:NPOV. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:20, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Mid-Continent League[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Mid-Continent League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article doesn't provide references and is not a notable league at this time.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
