An article called Good Game.[edit]

Hey David. This is an article about an Australian video game reviewing show called Good Game. A while ago I went on a sourcing rampage and searched the internet for any information I could find. I think it needs a brutal copyedit and rearranging, as well as a turning of quotes into prose etc. I was wondering if you'd care to take a look at it for me?--Coin945 (talk) 06:29, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Hey Coin I personally generally avoid articles about tv-shows, movies, musicians, etc.. because in my opinion few of the articles within those subject that currently exist on Wikipedia should exist on Wikipedia. The gross majority, again only in my opinion, are not noteworthy enough to qualify for a Wikipedia article. I prefer to research articles that are personally interesting and of some educational value. David Condrey (talk) 03:14, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
Fair enough. I just figured you might like something completely out of left field. I was wrong haha. :)--Coin945 (talk) 16:34, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
I'm rather disheartened with Wikipedia all together. Am thinking this probably isn't the sort of place I should be wasting my time. Just got on this evening to check messages because I saw I'd gotten a couple messages a few days ago. And then wrote up a post as Finn had asked (below). Goodnight hun David Condrey (talk) 07:26, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

Notable isn't really notable[edit]

Why does Wikipedia have such a loose definition of notability and allow such non-notable articles to be considered notable? David Condrey (talk) 03:44, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Notice of absence[edit]

Hi! Would you like to discuss this over at Editor Retention? Many editors feel disheartened at times - talking about it can help. Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 16:50, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Well deserved barnstar[edit]

I'm sure it goes without saying that your contributions are appreciated, but sometimes things that go without saying should be said anyways. Your work on our weekly TAFI collaborations have been significant, and I want to shine the spotlight on your contributions to Animatronics, a great collaboration in which you took a leading role in researching new content. Once the pending peer review is complete, I'm sure all the TAFI participants will work together to give it that final polish, and then it can be nominated for FA. Great job.--NickPenguin(contribs) 22:56, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
I agree 100% - this one is well-deserved! Congratulations! :) Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 23:39, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

International airport Good article nomination[edit]

Hi! Thanks for nominating International airport for GA. If we want to have a fair chance at it, we should really deal with the uncited paragraph (see article talk for my previous comment on it). You seem to have reassessed the article as B class. This is a good step toward GA nomination. However, do you think it passes B class criteria 1. "The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations where necessary"? I think we really should deal with that uncited paragraph - given that it's not only likely to be challenged but it was actually challenged (by me) on the talk page. Let's sort this before the GA nom gets underway, shall we? Again, thanks for the nomination - it's great that TAFI work gets properly featured! Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 14:22, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

PS. I hope you get better soon! :) Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 14:25, 16 October 2014 (UTC): ah. You are right. Premature on my part. I was reviewing a large number of deletions another user did yesterday and got caught up in it. David Condrey (talk) 18:07, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Nclusive[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nclusive, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
