The reason that page hasn't been created is because the production has not been notable. Everything about the development of the film fits on the franchise page. See WP:NFF for more specifics, but unless there becomes in-depth discussion on the production (and I've seen what's out there and there isn't enough) then we have to wait till the film is released. Hello, I wanted to say that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (film) should be merged if it does not begin production soon. For the most part, many articles about planned films not yet in production are merged elsewhere. Here are just some examples: Shantaram (film), Spider-Man 4, Jurassic Park IV, Logan's Run (2010 film), Fahrenheit 451 (2009 film), etc. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 20:03, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First, I don't monitor all pages, and I'm well aware of plenty that violate a lot of our policies and guidelines. Per WP:NFF, the production itself has to be notable. That means it needs significant coverage. The production itself does not have significant coverage; we really know very little about the production. We know plenty about what it took to get this film going (that's what's in the franchise page), but what they are actually doing right now is a mystery for the most part. Now, from what I hear, they are making tons of documentaries for the DVD, but that doesn't help us now. It is not mine, or anyone else's intention to discourage you from editing, there are just regulations that we all must follow. If there were no rules then there would be anarchy on the site - there already is a lot that, and the rules we have aren't even that strict. The time will come with that page is created, and I hope that you will still be around to keep it straight. There are plenty of other Friday related pages that could use some clean up.
