[edit] Thank you
Thank you for adding extra categories to Railway stations in Zambia, etc. but you should have mentioned this in the Edit summary. Tabletop (talk) 04:14, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Hi Borg, thanks for your edits to the {{Boroughs of Hamburg}}, I have not installed all links, because at time I created this template there were much more redlinks. Have you compared them to the list at Boroughs and quarters of Hamburg? For your move request, I will support it, after Los Angeles is no longer Los Angeles, California (what a comparison!). And may I bold advertise the brand-new Hamburg portal? Cheers Sebastian scha. (talk) 15:26, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- I like a complete alphabetical list better. But as long as all quarters are mentioned in one template its okay for me. Another question: How shall I name an article about the Speicherstadt in Hamburg (de:Speicherstadt), simply Speicherstadt (there is a Speicherstadt in Münster too) or translated Warehouse district, Hamburg (as there is a so-called warehouse district in Cleveland)? Literally translated it would be Warehouse City, but IMHO this is no option. Hoping for input Sebastian scha. (talk) 16:06, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
-
- Thanks. I will name it simply Speicherstadt. Another small point: {{stub}} templates should be placed after the categories. Sebastian scha. (talk) 16:49, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

I've reverted a couple of your edits that deleted the blank lines prescribed by WP:FOOTERS. Let me know if you have questions or concerns about this. --Stepheng3 (talk) 01:08, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

[edit] German town categories deletion for discussion
Hi DerBorg. I would just like to say that I'm impressed with your mature approach to the above proposals you made about German town categories and your willingness to reconsider your vote either as more articles are added or you get more info on some of the topics. This is Wiki cooperation at its best. Gruß. --Bermicourt (talk) 20:49, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Nice catch
Hi, I was about to undo all of those New Caledonia-related moves and you beat me to it! In case you're interested, this report is helpful to monitor for mass movers. Thanks, --JaGatalk 22:21, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for catching that vandal as fast as you did and reverting their edit! You'd already restored the page by the time I arrived so it is good to know it's a legitimate article. :) This lousy t-shirt (talk) 21:37, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Rail transport barnstar / Torino Porta Susa railway station
Thanks for the Rail transport barnstar. It's good to know that my editing work is appreciated.
In response to your comments about Torino Porta Susa railway station:
Both it.wikipedia and wikimedia commons have separate pages about the old and new stations, respectively. See it:Stazione di Torino Porta Susa, it:Stazione di Torino Porta Susa sotterranea, commons:Category:Torino Porta Susa train station (old) and commons:Category:Torino Porta Susa train station. Based on my reading of the it.wikipedia articles and Google maps, it seems that the new underground station is several blocks to the south west of the old above ground station. It also seems that when all the construction work has been completed, the two stations will share little, if anything, other than their names.
I therefore think that en.wikipedia should have two articles, one about the old station, and one about the new one. However, I would suggest that:
- the present article be renamed Torino Porta Susa railway station (1868), to tie in with the way it.wikipedia usually names articles about closed railway stations (see, eg, it:Stazione di Milano Centrale (1864)), and
- a new article about the new station be translated from the it.wikipedia sotteranea article, but given the present name of the present en.wikipedia article about the old station (ie Torino Porta Susa railway station).

Thank you for your note on that report. I have notified the blocking admin about your suspicion about block evasion and have asked him to take a look at it. If he thinks the editing patterns are close enough he might extend the block from 1 day to one week. Crazymonkey1123 (Jacob) T or M/Sign mine 21:31, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Croatian toponyms
Hi there. I noticed you added some .hr toponyms, but you should be aware that for Croatia we actually consistently track WP:NCGN#Disambiguation rules (unlike the current mess that is Serbian and Bosnian toponym articles). --Joy [shallot] (talk) 09:09, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Königshütte (Harz)
Hi DerB. I see you changed "borough" to "town" in the above article. The Germans use Stadt both to refer to a town (i.e. the built-up area) and the territory surrounding it which may include several separate villages. I therefore use "town" for the former and "borough" for the area to distinguish them. To say that "FOO is a village in the town of FOOOF" doesn't sound right to me. But I'm no expert on local government so I'm open to persuasion! --Bermicourt (talk) 20:17, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

I've formatted the WikiProject Cleanup page to include members for those that are interested in joining, similar to how other projects have members. Since you've contributed relatively recently to the project's list page, I formally extend this invitation to join WikiProject Cleanup! I've also created a userbox template for members to use on their user pages. Thank you for your contributions to help improve Wikipedia! Northamerica1000(talk) 08:26, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
