The Uprising[edit]

I just noticed your message on my talk page. The article is really borderline stub/start and I could have gone either way on it. The addition of a personnel section for the album will put it to start-class without any question from me. Thanks. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 19:05, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Atomic EP[edit]

Re Labrinth's Atomic EP, I understand your edit, but if you put a future release date of 2013 on there do you have a reference for it? Cheers mate. Andre666 (talk) 15:34, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

As 2013 has just begun and the EP still hasn't been released yet, it should be out sometime this year. He wouldn't make the whole thing streamable and then release it in 2014. I can't give you a reference but "TBC" would be a far better release date to put than Christmas Day. I think it's best we just put something that's not misleading and wait it out until an official release date is announced. Thanks for asking and not just editing hastily! DJUnBalanced (talk) 15:49, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi, thanks very much for the reply. Putting "2013" is entirely speculative, as is "TBC", as it's not even been confirmed that this EP is going to be released at all outside of SoundCloud! If a physical release is confirmed, then that date would take precedence in the infobox and the Christmas Day 2012 release date would appear in a separate section, but for now, while the only release date confirmed is the one that has already happened, that is the one which is correct. Andre666 (talk) 17:39, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
I can't argue with that! I think it's best to remove the bit mentioning "free download" though, since it isn't one. DJUnBalanced (talk) 19:39, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
I don't recall ever putting the word "download" in there as, like you say, it isn't! If I did, I apologise, but at least it isn't in there now. I'm sure it will be released at some point anyway. Andre666 (talk) 19:53, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

Skrillex leaving, reception[edit]

hi, you keep on removing the reception comments i put on Skrillex leaving EP, im trying to group a load of reccption comments as i go, so please stop removing the comments i leave. Cheers — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dansell3 (talkcontribs) 16:02, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

I assumed by the look of the link that it was not a notable blog and therefore was self-promotion. Please go ahead and add more to the section, as it looks like advertisement at the moment to an unknowing reader. DJUnBalanced (talk) 16:56, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Clarity[edit]

It still isn't showing for me that it charted, is it showing the position for you? NYSMy talk page 13:31, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

It shows that "Spectrum" charted at No. 30, but not Clarity. NYSMy talk page 13:33, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
My bad! Fixed it, will keep an eye out in case it does chart. DJUnBalanced (talk) 13:34, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
hey, do you have any music online to listen to? I love dubstep. NYSMy talk page
I do! Without going too far into self-promotion, I have all my music and details on the "info" section of my Facebook page. DJUnBalanced (talk) 13:52, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Awesome sauce, I'll check it out. NYSMy talk page 14:04, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

Dillon Francis[edit]

Hi, last year I made Dillon Francis' page, but it was my first wiki page so I pretty much had no idea what I was doing. You seem to be doing most of the work in keeping it up to date, so for that thanks :) I've tried making a couple other pages for producers, are their any others than need creating? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr High Barnet (talkcontribs) 19:33, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi! Glad that you've noticed my efforts, I've been trying to keep pages for any OWSLA artists up to date at the moment! I'm thinking of creating pages for Alvin Risk and Monsta, and maybe some notable OWSLA releases. Also I notice the Mad Decent page could do with a cleanup, so that'll be a future project! --DJUnBalanced (talk) 20:17, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

#willpower[edit]

If you purchased the actual album you'd known in the digital booklet that Arty is listed as a song writer but only Will.i.am is listed as a producer. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:27, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

The Alvin Risk bozo[edit]

Do you think that guy who keeps removing the content is Alvin Risk? It seems to be removing all the information that could personally identify him. Anyway, your opinions here are welcome.--Launchballer 21:57, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd thought that was a possibility too. It would explain the sudden change in destination, and as a musician myself I can see why he'd like to protect his alias. If he wanted to remove it, he could at least add an edit summary. For now I'll assume that it's not him but a vandal who doesn't know much about Alvin's past and decided to delete it. We can never be certain... I guess it's worth keeping it up since it's all the truth? --DJUnBalanced (talk) 20:32, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Yes, definitely. Wait until it explains itself and until then just keep reverting. Is it worth requesting pending changes on it?--Launchballer 20:53, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
I'd say so - I think we can probably cover all significant edits when they need to be made. I doubt unregistered/new users would be able to add much to what we've got at the moment. Worth adding an extra level of security to prevent vandalism, certainly. --DJUnBalanced (talk) 21:19, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Raf Riley[edit]

Run it through userspace first. Etta Bond barely scrapes by WP:MUSIC criterion #1 with only two independent reliable sources; if you're saying Riley is less notable than Bond, it may not pass. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing what you can come up with.--Launchballer 11:16, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

I've made a very, very brief start here.--Launchballer 22:47, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Future Perfect[edit]

The guidelines on notability of albums are tripe in my opinion but I say that's more than good enough. I would recommend expanding the "Reception" section slightly, so that the reviews template doesn't indent the track listing, but otherwise fine.--Launchballer 17:58, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Re: Hotel Cabana[edit]

  1. I was waiting for an official release date from a reliable industry source OR from Khan or is label.
  2. The cover for "No One's Here to Sleep" is a commercial work, even though it was released for free, the song is a commercial work and is part of the album, a commercial body of work. The cover adds nothing to reader understanding as it is a background with just some text in silhouette. The image of the venue is not random, its one of the venues for the tour, its a free image (i.e. someone had donated the right to use the image meaning it can be freely used as many times and whenever we want). → Lil-℧niquԐ 1 - { Talk } - 22:35, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Look Right Through[edit]

Mark the redirect with {{db-move|User:Launchballer/Look Right Through|reason=moving userspace article to articlespace}}. I wouldn't recommend moving it until it charts, because it may get WP:A7d, and I definitely wouldn't move it until an article is written for Storm Queen, because it will probably be WP:A9d.--Launchballer 22:05, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

I've written the Storm Queen article and tagged the redirect for speedy deletion so that your page can be moved there.--Launchballer 00:30, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Bells (EP)[edit]

Hello Djunbalanced. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Bells (EP), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A9 only applies to cases where the artist does not have an article. Thank you. —Darkwind (talk) 19:42, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Circus Records[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Circus Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 18:12, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

I've declined the speedy deletion. If you have some further sources to help establish WP:N notability, that would be helpful; thanks. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:22, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Ready for Your Love (song)[edit]

There are no other songs with that title. When people hear the phrase "Ready for Your Love", it's obvious that they are referring to Gorgon City. Hadji87

The M Machine[edit]

Why do you consider their touring history irrelevant or a biased point of view? Isn't it noteworthy to talk about the bigger artists they've toured with, and the big festivals they've played? 76.169.32.3 (talk) 07:03, 6 February 2014 (UTC)neal

Chris Loco[edit]

This article is a mess, but appears to have ties to Etta Bond and Raf Riley. I've BLP prodded it, but is there anything you think could be added to it?--Launchballer 08:27, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Maiday[edit]

Many thanks for your edits on Maiday, a very talented lady from what I've seen thus far. I have now added sources on the article from SB.TV and The daily Mirror. Actually the deletion was done on this article with not even one single comment. See discussion. Meanwhile Maiday has been charting all over the place, in Belgium, France, Denmark, UK and more is coming. I dedicate to you the song "Skydive" from her. Plus the name maiday reminded me of Ola's "S.O.S", so I dedicate that one as well to you. werldwayd (talk) 12:45, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

Promotional singles from "x"[edit]

Really appreciate your work creating pages for the promotional singles for "x" (although I expect that at some point they may be taken down for notability reasons). I have taken the liberty of making a start on the final promotional single, "One", however I am not seasoned enough to know how to create the chart section of the page, so any help you could give would be great! Kielaurie (talk) 16:05, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Thank you, glad my efforts have been noticed! Hopefully they'll be kept up because my articles have rarely been tagged for deletion, and top 100 in the UK Singles seems to warrant their notability. Knowledge is power after all... Just added those charts for ya. I only learnt them in the first place from copyediting and then adjusting dates/countries! Shouldn't take long for you to learn, I'm always here if you've got a question. --DJUnBalanced 16:58, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Hello, can you tell me where have you find those singles covers you post for x please? Black Butter article[edit]

Hey man thanks for adding to the BB article, reckon it might not be better as a seperate discography article? It's gonna get unwieldy pretty quickly! Osario (talk)

Hiya, yeah it's gonna be big once I've added the last two years... I've never seen it questioned on the likes of OWSLA, Circus Records and Never Say Die Records, but I know Hospital Records have a separate discography article so sure I'd be happy to move it over! --DJUnBalanced 14:55, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
Sweet, I think maybe it's worth keeping some on the page (i.e. the more "important" ones). Perhaps have those that chart on the main page, and everything else on the discography page? For other labels I would have thought maybe only albums on the main page but, well, that's not really going to work in this case! I have to say it's been a very long time since I've been active on WP so I'm not really aware of what the consensus is about things like this but hey, just throwing ideas out there. P.s. the link to listen to your music on your page here doesn't work. Osario (talk) 21:24, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
Sure, I'll get on that tomorrow. Sorry about the link haha my friend changed it without me noticing! Here, thanks! --DJUnBalanced 21:44, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
