Speedy deletion nomination of Kincaid Furniture[edit]

Hello Dk ecu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kincaid Furniture for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 14:06, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly is it inappropriate? This is a legitimate company with legitimate sources

May I suggest a little more research should be done by wiki administrators and speedy deletion taggers before passing off one's work as inappropriate. http://www.kincaidfurniture.com/historyandmission.cfm <- this is legitimate , not fictional or non-historical. But thank you very much for your discretion on what is deemed inappropriate, it gives me a better understanding of why certain articles and figures in history do not have a wiki page.

Good Day

I am sure it's legitimate, not fictional. However, that doesn't make it notable, and therefore worthy of inclusion. Please note that Wikipedia is not a directory; enterprises don't automatically deserve just articles because they exist. Please read the guidelines for notability of organizations and corporations and find some reliable references outside the company's webpage and its linked-in page to demonstrate why the company is notable. Then you should have no trouble with the article. ubiquity (talk) 15:32, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
