No war. Enjoy time here[edit]

Ciao! Sorry for giving you this impression... you work is appreciable and I just used to correct. I was just tired of checking ALL of them for typos and style. And, as you can see, the infobox are left n my new edits. I've added a template in the beginning in this page with all the references for style, article layout and rules, etc. Ciao and good work!!! --Attilios (talk) 12:07, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi![edit]

About your creation of Mihtarlam, please remember that you always have to put a space after a comma (only in texts, not in numbers). Regards. --Damifb (talk) 19:17, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your answer. Also, when you have time and if you want to, it would be great if you could track back all the articles where you left that error. Best wishes.

--Damifb (talk) 19:43, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I already did most of it.--Damifb (talk) 20:32, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Sofia and Plovdiv[edit]

Please excuse me for my error! Thank you for the correction. Much appreciated. I was merging two articles together, one from Catholic Encyclopedia, and forgot to check whether the vicariate was elevated. Benkenobi18 (talk) 06:50, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Your vote[edit]

I'm genuinely puzzled by what you say. I have checked everything, and I think you have only contacted me once, about Cardinal Archetti and titular sees. See [1], now at User talk:Charles Matthews/Archive 24. Otherwise - is it possible you are thinking of someone else? At Giovanni Andrea Archetti you undid my edit to links, and that was it. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:57, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Capitalization[edit]

Hi -- I'm sorting through a lot of the Afghanistan stubs you created (wow! must have taken you ages -- I'm glad someone took the time to do it), and I wanted to let you know about some capitalization rules in English. In most cases, "north," "south," "east," and "west" are not capitalized. Also, if you write two direction words together, they are usually written as one word - "northeast" and not "north-east." I'll take care of the Afghanistan ones as I sort, but I thought you'd like to know for the future. Keep up the good work! Aelfthrytha (talk) 06:54, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry about it too much -- we all make mistakes in non-native languages. If you have any uncertainty in the future, though, please feel free to ask me. I am a native speaker, and I would be happy to assist you with anything related to English (or anything else, for that matter). Cheers! Aelfthrytha (talk) 20:41, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Khost (Matun) District[edit]

Why is it Khost (Matun)? Are they synonyms or is Matun within Khost? Kingturtle (talk) 18:54, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

My talk page...[edit]

Stop threatening that "administration" (????) will be on to me (your threats won't influence me). Stop your borderline personal attacks. Stop telling me what to do. If you want to continue the issue, use the correct channels that I have suggested to you - not my talk page. Good day. --Merbabu (talk) 00:00, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Baldevo, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Rhodope and Ottoman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:The local Catholic church.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The local Catholic church.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:34, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Titular diocese of Dora[edit]

I cannot understand how Ciudad Real, Spain can be mixed with Kayseri, Turkey. Bandeira Nunca M C3 A1is.png Sobreira (parlez) 21:02, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Mea culpa. It was my mistake and I corrected it. I, in general do not create articles about titular sees, because they are not important, but this one particularity is different. This titular see was reserved for the territorial prelates of Ciudad Real.So their full title would be for example: Juan Hervás y Benet, Titular bishop of Dora and Prelate of Ciudad Real, Grand Master and Prior of the Orders of Santiago, Alcántara, Calatrava and Montesa.

You have to read the article about the Titular see to understand that connection.

Drjmarkov (talk) 23:33, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

    • No problem, it was just to make it clear to anyone who doesn't know anything about both ESP and TÇ. By the way, don't you think it's better to write first the text about the see and later the info about the orders? Something like this:

The Titular diocese of Dora is assigned to the province of Palestina Prima. As early as the fifth century it was the residence of a bishop and suffragan to the Archbishopric of Cæsarea. There are records of five Latin bishops during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Its modern Arabic name is Tantourah. Dora is a village of about 1500 inhabitants, on the seashore between Haifa and Caesarea Maritima.

The see had united the priorate of the four military orders of Santiago, Alcántara, Calatrava and Montesa in the city of Ciudad Real. The occupant had the authority of grand master of the orders and exercised spiritual jurisdiction in the civil territory of that province. Since February 4, 1980, when the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ciudad Real was elevated from Territorial Prelature the see is vacant.

Bandeira Nunca M C3 A1is.png Sobreira (parlez) 14:30, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Actually it is more fluent if I had wrote the article like you suggested, but it is wrong, because ,when the diocese was functional in Palestina it was not a titular. And the meaning of the titular see is that it is not real and the facts for the former Roman Catholic Diocese of Dora are not connected in any way with Titular Diocese of Dora - they are like trivia. The titular sees are not suffragan of any see. Drjmarkov (talk) 16:54, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Bulgarian help needed[edit]

Hello Drjmarkov, I'm contacting you because we need some Bulgarian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on bg.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Bulgarian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 20:30, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
