Speedy deletion nomination of WARAIRA REPANO[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on WARAIRA REPANO requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Etcetera (song)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Etcetera (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NSONG

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nymf hideliho! 18:44, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/We Are The World 25 for Haiti (YouTube Edition)[edit]

Thanks for voting on this, but simply stating "delete" or "keep" without a reason behind it defeats the purpose. We need a reasoning as to why you feel this way. Plus if you give a reasoning why you are voting the way you are will be taken into consideration as opposed to just voting "delete" or keep." So keep that in mind for future reference. Queen WikiProject[edit]

Hello, I am leaving you this message as part of a personal effort to revive the Queen WikiProject of which you are listed as a participant. If you are not interested in committing yourself to contributing to Queen related articles please go about removing yourself from the participants list on the project page. On the other hand if you are interested in the project and do wish to contribute, I encourage you to head over to the project's talk page to work towards outstanding tasks and share ideas on how Queen-related articles may be improved.

Thanks for reading this, and I look forward to your response. Such a legendary group deserves to be honoured with quality articles on Wikipedia and it is a great shame such a project has gone inactive.

April 2010[edit]

What is your reason behind restoring this. They are not notable and don't have a Wikipedia page, therefore, they should not be mentioned. Hundreds of people could have sang the song, it does not mean that they should be included. I suggest you cut out your nonsense and use edit summaries and the article talk page. Pyrrhus16 18:34, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

each article should be referred to the amount covered by other artists. can be significant because it mentions what the song has left a legacy. that song has only two covers and I decided to mention it with the branch "history", --Eduardofoxx13 (talk) 18:40, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
No, they should not. Covers should only be included if the act covering it is notable (has their own Wikipedia page). If I sang the song and then added it to a CD, would I get a mention on the page as well? No. It is not needed at all. Pyrrhus16 18:44, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
how?, of course it is. All Led Zeppelin songs have their covers in a branch and is that why are not remarkable?, none has faded, it's good for the starters because if they want to hear your song but are tired of the original artist.
I could not care what is in Led Zeppelin articles. Covers by acts that don't even have a Wikipedia page should not be included in any respectable article. We add what is covered by major acts, not some non-notable MySpace band. Pyrrhus16 19:01, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
well, whatever. I edit the covers by allmusic.com, a page confible. maybe the "WikiProject song" not mention it. --Eduardofoxx13 (talk) 19:09, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

War[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tornado of Souls. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Srobak (talk) 20:18, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Information.svg Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Tornado of Souls. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Srobak (talk) 20:21, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:A Tribute to the Creatures of the Night.jpg[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:A Tribute to the Creatures of the Night.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:06, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Rockstar 101[edit]

I cannot see the reasoning for this one redirected sonmg not to be re-directed to the album it comes from. This is what happens in every other case. I have reverted you again, as have other editors. I cannot see any reason why it should be reverted to an alternative article title which is up for AfD. Please do not revert without concensus. --Richhoncho (talk) 21:47, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rockstar 101: The Remixes[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rockstar 101: The Remixes, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here.  — AARONTALK 11:06, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
