Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Talk headers[edit]

Hello, FireCrystal. On Talk:Rock um Knuedler, you reverted my removal of a talk header. You said, "this should be on EVERY talk page." If you take a look at Template:Talk_header#Usage, you'll see "This template does not need to be placed on every talk page, and should not be indiscriminately added to talk pages using automated editing tools." It goes on to say "Talk pages that are frequently misused, that attract frequent debate, articles often subject to controversy, articles that typically attract new editors, and highly-visible or popular topics may be appropriate for this template." So please revert your reversion. Thank you. Nythar (talk) 07:27, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I still think it should be built in to Wikipedia at this point. FireCrystal 07:41, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This template could be placed on talk pages with high traffic, or about controversial subjects. Before your first edit on 1 July 2022, the last time Talk:Rock um Knuedler was edited was in 2011. Nythar (talk) 07:54, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

August 2022[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

 1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
 2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Cullen328 (talk) 17:35, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a moment to update your signature[edit]

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error, specifically one formatting tag that is misplaced.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
 3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
 4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Change the signature as shown below, or make other edits to make the signature appear how you want it to appear.
 3. Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.

Current signature:
<span style="border:1px solid gray;background:#000000;color:#ff7238">Fire</span><span style="border:1px solid gray;background:#000000;color:#49e2e9">Crystal</span>

Fixed signature:
<span style="border:1px solid gray;background:#000000;color:#ff7238">Fire</span><span style="border:1px solid gray;background:#000000;color:#49e2e9">Crystal</span>

Note the placement of the last closing span tag. More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:10, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
