License tagging for File:Treehouse of Horror XIV.gif
Thanks for uploading File:Treehouse of Horror XIV.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Template:Treehouse of Horror. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- Cirt (talk) 08:58, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
While I understand your intent is good, please stop canvassing the whole of Wikipedia on their opinions for this item. Magog the Ogre (talk) 09:38, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, that was a lot of invites, wasn't it. I should really go back to being a Gnome. Two of my simple edits just got inadvertently deleted along with the (apparently) questionable stuff. I apologize for sucking you into to this vortex of stubbornness. Fixblor (talk) 09:47, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Lol, it's fine, but I've seen people blocked for that sort of messaging before. The best course might be a WP:RFC. Magog the Ogre (talk) 10:08, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
In response to your message on the THOH list talk page:
"While I appreciate Scorpion's zealous undoing of edits with some rationale (I'm trying to assume good faith here)"
Actually, I was originally not going to bother because its just not worth getting into another lame edit war with you in which you over-reacted and canvassed a bunch of random users again. Then, I realized that the purpose of wikipedia is to present the best articles possible, and even though there's no policy about it, I didn't think having one link in a column of non-links looked very good. In my opinion, and I could be way off, it all comes down to the fact that you dislike being reverted, especially when you spend time working on something. Unfortunately, it's all-to-common here that one can spend hours working on a page only for it to be nominated for deletion the next week. My advice is that you stop taking things personally. We're both just doing what we think is best for the various articles. In the long run, we've been arguing over pretty minor things, I'd be happy to collaborate with you to improve some articles. For example, a lot of the episode pages from after season 9 are in bad shape (including some THOH episodes), as are a number of character pages. -- Scorpion0422 15:32, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
No, thanks. I only said what you just quoted after reviewing your history and a sampling of your recent, and similar in style reverts, not to mention your blocked history. The canvassing was strictly to those who had previously edited the page in question (who were still active). See above discussion for my apology. Your edits have a habit of hindering progress, and while I'm sure you've embedded into your psyche the rationale of a more elegant site and your interpretation (let me repeat, your interpretation) of encyclopedic standards. If you will notice, I have removed what you just quoted before you quoted it. View History is great, I agree. But unless it took you an hour to write what you just wrote, you're taking my observations of your behavior as more than what they are.
You have a history of edit wars, and thanks to you, now so do I. Go away.Fixblor (talk) 15:47, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Fair enough, but lets get something straight, you edit warred because you wanted to, not because I forced you to. -- Scorpion0422 15:55, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
OK, how do I block this darkside troll? Fixblor (talk) 15:59, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
I tried to offer an olive branch, but whatever. Since I'm a "darkside troll" I need to be stopped. So, I invite you, no I insist that you report me here: Wikipedia:Long-term abuse. -- Scorpion0422 16:03, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Stop talking to me, and trying to tell me what to do. Your olive branch assumes I don't have my own docket to work on. Your olive branch is asking me to be beholden to you by fixing the sites you request, per your approval, no doubt. Please, go away. Fixblor (talk) 16:09, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
So I'm not a troll then? Well that's a relief. You're reading too much into nothing. I was assuming that you were a Simpsons fan and at WP:DOH we're always looking for users that can help out. -- Scorpion0422 16:14, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
You're definitely a troll now. GO AWAY.Fixblor (talk) 16:17, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
