Its time for me to retire this account. Its been an absolutely wonderful experience, and I've learned a great deal from an assortment of intelligent people, but I have several ideas that I want to develop into books, which I'll never get around to if I spend my free time editing Wikipedia. To quote David Gilmour, "It isn't to do with animosity or anything like that. It's just ... I've been there, I've done it." Thanks to all the encouraging editors who helped me become a better writer. I'll now apply the skills that I've learned here to my own end. Kudos to those who defend the project; its certainly a worthwhile cause, and we should be proud of our contributions to its development. GabeMc (talk|contribs) 00:00, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

|For your years of excellent contributions Wikipedia-wide, but especially to our articles on the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and The Autobiography of Malcolm X. You'll be missed, Gabe, and thanks for all you've done! Evan (talk|contribs) 18:46, 2 July 2014 (UTC)|
