Deletion discussion about Rakesh Khanna[edit]

Dear Gaff,

Rakesh is a notable personality in the Indian IT industry. He has contributed a lot for the industry and holds a key position at Syntel. Besides students from his alma mater, key industry personalities and media persons find him influential and often derive from his career graph.

Please be assured that this is not a business page. Also, I had consulted Jim F Bleak [1], a fellow wiki editor before publishing the page.

I would appreciate if you could share more pointers on how to make this page more person-oriented and lower the "business" tone of it.

Thanks for the feedback. At this time, your comments are best directed to the discussion page regarding the article deletion (see link on the article page). There is really nothing that I can do for you from my talk page. Good luck! Gaff ταλκ 14:43, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

Ramona splashing in the fountain[edit]

Hello! I noticed your recent edit to Grant Park. The photo on the page of the Ramona statue clearly shows that the statue is not splashing in a fountain. Was there once a fountain there, or is the source wrong? Regards, Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 07:29, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

  • The source is correct. The fountain is just not turned on when that pic was taken. But the Falcon Guide source reports she is splashing in the fountain. I confirmed this as well, while playing there with my daughter earlier today! Cheers! --Gaff ταλκ 07:33, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
I see— looking at another picture I took that day (not uploaded here) I can see that there is indeed a perforated slab in the middle of the concrete that could be a fountain, but apparently it isn't turned on in the winter. I should visit Portland more often in the summer! Thanks & regards, Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 07:43, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Need help to clear flag on Rakesh Khanna[edit]

Dear Gaff,

I have made the required edits to Rakesh Khanna's page. I have also added few new sections and diluted the language a bit.

Can you please help me clear the "flag"/"notifications" for this page.
