Welcome!

Hello, Gal Buki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. No Prob[edit]

Hey, I welcomed 526 people before you, so it's no big deal ;-)

Please let me know if I can help further. karmafist 04:29, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Liel[edit]

Yeah, I agree with the consensus there. Liel should be the redirect, but take any pertinent info out of there first. In case you don't know, Redirects are just #REDIRECT and then the name of the article right afterward in a wikilink. You might have done this already once before, but it never hurts to check. karmafist 05:00, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:FMA-2.0.0.19.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:FMA-2.0.0.19.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Free sofware vs. Open source[edit]

Please take a look at this. Thank you. --Paxcoder (talk) 18:18, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cleversafe[edit]

Another editor placed a proposed deletion template on an article you created, Cleversafe, listing the reason: "Appears to be content copied from marketing page" As you probably already know, you're free to remove the {{dated prod}} notice if you wish to contest the deletion. Free sofware vs. Open source[edit]

Please see the new edit on the Free software talk page. Thanks.--Paxcoder (talk) 15:33, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated InDefero, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/InDefero. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Joe Chill (talk) 23:15, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Gal Buki! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 943 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Mary Kay Adams - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

About the (now out-of-date) IMatch Wikipedia pages on which you've worked in the past[edit]

Hello, Gal Buki. Please check your email; you've got mail!
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.Toolumpy (talk) 20:16, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of IMatch[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on IMatch, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disambiguation link notification for July 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Agile learning, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Method (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:19, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Eric LeMarque moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Eric LeMarque, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Redalert2fan (talk) 22:33, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Eric LeMarque has been accepted[edit]

Eric LeMarque, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. If your account is more than four days old and you have made at least 10 edits you can create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

General sanctions alert[edit]

Please read this notification carefully, it contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Gal Buki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Bitcoin SV, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Nearly all of your edits are about this particular cryptocurrency. Do you have any financial or other conflict of interest? Robert McClenon (talk) 02:53, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not paid to write the article and I don't believe I get a financial gain by working on this article. The majority of text in the article has an RS and is not for publicity but to show facts and uniqueness that should have a place in an Encyclopedia. torusJKL (talk) 07:12, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
