Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.

A few features that you might find helpful:

• Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
• The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
• Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
• The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, writing contests, article logistics, and other tasks.
• We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
• We've developed a style guide that covers article structure and content, template use, categorization, and many other issues of interest.
• If you're looking for something to work on, there are many articles that need attention, as well as a number of review alerts and copy-editing alerts.
• The project has a stress hotline available for your use.

Good day mate and welcome to Wikipedia! The name's Laurinavicius, and I'm a somewhat experienced editor here. I see that you're new here and are still learning the ropes of being a full-time editor, so if you have any questions just post it on my talk page and I'll give you a hand. Also, I've noticed that you and I are both members of the WikiProject Military History. Therefore, I suggest that you and I should collaborate on some articles together. I have a list of articles that I'm currently working on on my homepage, and if you're interested in teaming up with me to improve them, just drop me line. hey laurinavicius my name is generalhannible.I am new so if you could help me with some things I will be eternally grateful.I noticed on your user page that you are roman catholic,I am to! I have been doing minor edits on the 103rd (Lancashire Artillery Volunteers) Regiment Royal Artillery so if you could look at that and tell me how I have done(I did not write the article I just linked some things and corrected some grammar mistakes)

I've checked over the article and it's not bad work, but it still needs some grammatical improvement, mainly due to the fact that the sentences within the article don't flow together; they are just a conglomeration of facts in regards to the history and equipment of the regiment. I'll get to work on the article as soon as I can (tomorrow or the day after) as I am quite busy both in real life and editing other articles. Continue the good work mate. Hey mate! I completed my work on that article you showed me and, thanks to our teamwork, it has been totally revamped for the better. What was once a Stub with but a few sentences, has become a Start-class article that only needs a picture or two and paranthetical citations to be promoted to B-Class. But in the meantime, I feel that we should work as partners, collaboration together to improve articles one at a time. I suggest that we both work on improving the same article simultaneously over the course of a few days. So, in the end, the article will come out twice as good as it would be if just one of us worked on it, for two heads or better than one. If you accept my offer of a partnership, I have a list of possible articles to get work on on my user page. It was great working with you and I hope to do so many more times in the future! "Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.

April 2021 WikiProject Military History Reviewing Drive

Hey y'all, the April 2021 WikiProject Military History Reviewing Drive begins at 00:01 UTC on April 1, 2021 and runs through 23:59 UTC on April 31, 2021. Points can be earned through reviewing articles on the AutoCheck report, reviewing articles listed at WP:MILHIST/ASSESS, reviewing MILHIST-tagged articles at WP:GAN or WP:FAC, and reviewing articles submitted at WP:MILHIST/ACR. Service awards and barnstars are given for set points thresholds, and the top three finishers will receive further awards.
