[edit] Speedy deletion nomination of India Reynolds
A tag has been placed on India Reynolds requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 20:54, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Ada
Hi Glenn- being as it's just me and you editing the 09/10 season page, have you seen the arguement that's going on the Ada page I created? Don't know if you want to back me up at all or not, just thought I'd alert you to it, thanks Rup235 (talk) 14:26, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] File permission problem with File:Armands Fantasy Football.svg
Thanks for uploading File:Armands Fantasy Football.svg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en
wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Admrboltz (talk) 15:29, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Permission
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file, please understand that the vast majority of images found on the internet are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Most content on the internet is copyrighted and the creator of the image has exclusive rights to use it. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others - do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. In certain limited cases, we may be able to use an image under a claim of fair use - if you are certain that fair use would apply here, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Admrboltz (talk) 21:24, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
I have deleted your logo again because "permission to wikipedia" is not a valid free image license. --Admrboltz (talk) 21:22, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Template:2010–11 Football League Championship table
Hey there. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great work you've done on this and related templates over the last season. They're a brilliant solution to what would otherwise be a nightmare trying to keep many different clubs' season articles up-to-date. Your efforts are much appreciated. Regards, —WFC— 22:27, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks also from me saves lots of effort on the individual season articles. Can you check out the {{2011–12 Football League Championship table}} template for Peterborough as they appear to have played a game more than in the main 2011–12 Football League Championship article and the BBC table. [edit] "Spam"
Hi! Kindly do not respond in this manner.
Keep in mind that the "photo request" was for Wikipedia purposes, as in "take the photo so Wikipedia can have a photo in an article"
If you are not interested, do not label it spam. I find it offensive and inappropriate to do that. The polite, correct way of handling it is to just say, "No I don't do photo requests"
On Wikipedia it is considered good etiquette to ask someone if he/she is willing to do a photo request. I am in the United States, so I cannot take a photo of the Servisair HQ. You are in Cheshire, so it is okay for me to make a note on your userpage, asking if it is okay if you could take a photo of the HQ so the article can be improved.
