Third Opinion[edit]

GreenGourd, I just wanted to say how impressed I was by your third opinion at Talk:Bosnian_American#Third_Opinion. I'm quite new round here and have picked a few easy third opinions where I have been successful in helping others reach consenus (or at least not war!) but your opinion is another class, and I shall endeavour to steer my WP:30s to the level of quality that yours exhibit.

That might be a bit sycophantic, but I wanted to note my respect!! Bigger digger (talk) 14:02, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Donald G. Fink[edit]

At User talk:68.167.254.67 you wrote:

I see that you've redlinked Donald G. Fink's name, including in references, in several articles over the last few minutes. Will you be contributing an article on Donald G. Fink, too? That would be super.

Hi, thanks for the greeting. I'd be happy to create the article; please click here and save and I'll get going (you can cut/paste a sentence or two about him from http://www.ieee.org/portal/pages/about/awards/sums/fink.html if you are worried about creating a blank page. I'll take it from there. I was just about to ask the Engineering wikiproject to create it for me, so your timing is perfect. Thanks. 68.167.254.67 (talk) 00:00, 28 May 2009 (UTC).

Thank you for making WP:NODRAMA a success![edit]

Thank you again for your support of the Great Wikipedia Dramaout. Preliminary statistics indicate that 129 new articles were created, 203 other articles were improved, and 183 images were uploaded. Additionally, 41 articles were nominated for DYK, of which at least 2 have already been promoted. There are currently also 8 articles up for GA status and 3 up for FA/FL status. Though the campaign is technically over, please continue to update the log page at WP:NODRAMA/L with any articles which you worked during the campaign, and also to note any that receive commendation, such as DYK, GA or FA status. You may find the following links helpful in nominating your work:

  • T:TDYK for Did You Know nominations
  • WP:GAC for Good Article nominations
  • WP:FAC for Featured Article nominations
  • WP:FLC for Featured List nominations
  • WP:FPC for Featured Picture nominations

Again, thank you for making this event a success! --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 02:27, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Participation at my RfA[edit]

Cat-MaineCoon-Cookie.png Thank you for taking the time to weigh in on my RfA. It was successful, in that the community's wish not to grant me the tools at this time was honored. I'm taking all the comments as constructive feedback and hope to become more valuable to the project as a result; I've also discovered several new areas in which to work. Because debating the merits of a candidate can be taxing on the heart and brain, I offer this kitten as a low-allergen, low-stress token of my appreciation. --otherlleft 13:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
