Hi Green Caffeine: I took a look at your edits to Pen spinning and have left a note on Talk:Pen spinning about one aspect: you removed referenced material and references because you got 404s, but all or most of those appear to be archived at the Wayback Machine. I've noted there WP:PRESERVE, which many editors are unaware of - it is not a good idea to remove dead links, because there is then no clue to following editors that there was a reference. Often if the reference is left in place - marked as a dead link - either an archived version can be found as I did in this case, or clues such as a title and date can be used to track down an equivalent reference, such as the same wire service article published in a different newspaper. I would go through and reinstate that material now, but I don't have time, so I'm alerting you so you know next time you update an article. Welcome here and thanks for the effort. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Thanks for uploading File:RSVP MX pen mod, Dec 2015.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

I'm not quite sure if the recent additions are okay.... The only recent edits done by you on either of those articles was on the the James Kitson, 1st Baron Airedale page. If that information in parentheses that you added wasn't actually in the quoted material, then you need to use [brackets] instead of parentheses to show that the quote was added to or modified for clarification. Alternatively, at least for the date edit, I'm pretty sure you could add the date to the citation by using the "|date=" parameter in the citation, as long as the person died on the day that source was published.Green Caffeine (talk) 08:27, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
