The big yellow "you have new messages" banner was created for a reason. If you want my attention, edit this page. If I want your attention, I will edit your page. If I just want to reply out of politeness, I'll do it here and save interrupting whatever you're doing... if you're interested in what I said, watch this page and find out. If I'm keen to see your response, I will be watching your talk page, or wherever I suspect you might post it. But if you have something to say you think I need to read, the big yellow banner is kind of hard to miss...

[edit] ArbCom election (number of seats)

In this comment you stated that the decision on the number of seats needs to be made by "Sunday night." But the voting begins at 00:01 UTC on Sunday, that is, one minute after midnight on Sunday. So Sunday night is after the voting starts. Right? (And actually where I am (U.S. Eastern time) the voting actually begins Saturday at 7 p.m.) So if you were assuming the decision needs to be made before the voting starts, it would actually need to be made Saturday (i.e. tomorrow) night UTC. My sense of orderly elections tells me that the decision needs to be made before the voting starts, but since an RfC has now been started, I am not sure that is realistic. In order to have a chance of being accepted as legitimate, it may be that the RfC needs to run for 4 or 5 days, and in the meantime, the main elections page does tell the voters that the issue of the number of seats is under discussion. Closing the RfC on, say, November 30 would still leave people who have already voted with 10 days to go back and change their votes. Hopefully this situation will provide impetus for all of us to get these details clarified once and for all so this never happens again. Neutron (talk) 20:04, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I did mean "the night before voting starts". Happymelon 00:16, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Noticed one of your edits, and there's a similar query over here. Maybe you can comment. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  12:11, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Wicked (musical)

Ah, the truth one sometimes finds in an edit summary. Please do the same for the other three million plus articles. Cheers, Drmies (talk) 02:47, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Two things

First, thanks for fixing the MOTD CSD Face-smile.svg. Secondly, you might want to remove the {{User wikipedia/Oversighter}} UBX from your user page, since you don't seem to be one (any more). Cheers! It Is Me Here t / c 15:02, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
