Hello admin! I created the page Charles E. Kirk many years ago and I am now getting ready to give it some updates. (I know this is slow pace but I don't often get time for my wikipedia projects). I noticed someone placed a tag on the page with comments in the history suggesting I am a relative of the person in question, Charles E. Kirk. I am not related to this person. I follow and admire his work. I tried pinging the person via the talk page who originally placed the tag but got no response. Is there a proper way to have the tag removed? Generally speaking, tags are removed after the issues they raise are resolved - anyone can do it. That said, your talkpage message suggests that you actually do have a close connection to the subject, in that you know him personally. I'd recommend that before removing the tag, you go through the article and ensure that it meets every point of the neutrality and biography policies; if after doing so you believe that it does, you can remove the tag.
