{{unblock|I realize that I was banned for unintentionally choosing a name that resembled the infamous Willy on Wheels vandal. I'd like to politely request the use of this name now, as I don't expect that WoW is a major problem anymore. I am not a vandal, I just want this name. There is precedent for my request.--Hell on Wheels (talk) 07:05, 11 July 2010 (UTC)}}

Your block was four years ago. Wouldn't it be easier just to register a new account? TNXMan 13:46, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Of course it would, but I am a railfan and I like the name Hell on Wheels.--Hell on Wheels (talk) 16:44, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Seems fair enough to me. As a precaution you might also want to follow that precedent by adding the "I'm not Willy" banner your talk page.

External images for Pokemon[edit]

Hi, please stop adding images of the Pokemon. With big changes like that, you have to discuss it to make sure it is alright. See here. Blake (Talk·Edits) 02:44, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Although your attempts to improve the Pokemon articles are appreciated, as some of the WPPokemon editors have already pointed out, including the images in the article would violate fair use terms. This has been a long-standing policy. While I agree 100% that the articles would be improved with pictures of the Pokemon in them, the only way to do that without inviting ourselves to a lawsuit from Nintendo/GameFreak/Creatures, Inc. would be to pay licensing fees... and since Wikipedia is free, and relies on copyleft materials, it'd be seem kinda silly to pay to have pictures of characters from a (primarily) children's game. --khfan93 (t) (c) 23:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

No problem, it did seem that people were being rather short with you, so I hoped to explain. --khfan93 (t) (c) 00:34, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Walkersville railway[edit]

You don't need anyone's permission, I would accept that it's notable, but the previous attempt was too spammy Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:17, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Saunders family[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Saunders family requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Cind.amuse 20:39, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Canadian National 7470, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dwight Smith. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
