Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Disambiguation link notification for December 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Norman Jewison, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ...And Justice For All (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Username[edit]

Hello, I feel the username you are currently using is somewhat inappropriate as it includes the names of two notable individuals and I presume you are neither of them. Would you be willing to change your username to a more suitable one?--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 03:25, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Actually, usernames that include notable living people's names are a violation of policy. XXX antiuser eh? 00:32, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for addressing this. You're a productive editor and WP will definitely benefit from you sticking around! XXX antiuser eh? 04:11, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

Hey[edit]

Hey, MCSK, I saw on TDA's talk page that you're looking for a bureaucrat to help you with renaming your account, and I happen to be a 'crat here. Once you decide on the new username that you want, you can make a request at WP:CHU. There are more instructions on that page, but basically the nutshell is to check whether your desired username is already taken through Special:ListUsers. If it's not taken, then you can just follow the instructions at the top of WP:CHU/S, and assuming there are no other issues, I or another 'crat will perform the rename for you. If the name is taken, you may be able to usurp it under certain conditions; the conditions and procedure for that can be found at WP:CHU/U. Let me know if you have any questions or anything; I'd be glad to help. Thanks! Writ Keeper  01:53, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

I saw your request, and it looks good, so I've renamed this account. Be sure to use this as your username when you log in going forward. Thanks, and happy editing! Writ Keeper  21:01, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Reversions[edit]

Hey there,

FYI I reverted a couple of your recent additions to Fred Shuttlesworth and Derrick Bell because they added trivial information. That is, unless it's of any consequence, it's not relevant that people share a death(or birth) date and so we generally don't include such information.

United Artists[edit]

Hi. I'd like to discuss to you about the Film Archives section. Months ago, another user and myself agreed that the Exceptions section was too detailed and could easily be removed because the majority of the films listed were only merely distributed by UA, never owned by them. Now that you restored the section, I invite you to defend your stance on this section's inclusion on the article's talk page. Freshh! (talk) 14:39, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Gregory Peck[edit]

Hi, you left me a talk page message. I reverted your edit to Gregory Peck because you added some dates without references. This sort of thing is very common on Wikipedia. If there are other unsourced dates in the article, why don't you just add some sources? Magnolia677 (talk) 23:29, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
