A belated welcome![edit]

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm! Face-smile.svg

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Houcinovic. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. September 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to French language, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Caution for undiscussed removal of sourced content. You disliking it is not a valid reason for removing it. Thomas.W talk 16:03, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at French language shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. French in Algeria[edit]

Just a little addition to the argument : What I understand is that you can't stand the French language presence in your country (or are you really sincere saying French is not used ? Maybe only in some parts of Algeria where you live ?). But an encyclopedia must be neutral and report facts. Here is a last one I want to show you : https://stats.wikimedia.org/wikimedia/squids/SquidReportPageViewsPerCountryBreakdownHuge.htm#Algeria Of course, not every Algerian uses Internet and French must be less used than its percentage shows on the wiki traffic from Algeria (and a less complete Arabic wiki in terms of content may boost the French wiki over its real importance, but no one says French is a or the mother tongue of Algeria, just a presence due to history, that's up to Algerian people to choose.--Loup Solitaire 81 (talk) 16:01, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
