Articles for deletion nomination of Rubber Ninjas[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

I have nominated Rubber Ninjas, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rubber Ninjas. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. tedder (talk) 13:30, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

{{Samsung-mobile-stub}}[edit]

Greetings! I see you have recently created one or more new stub templates or categories. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types be proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals. This helps to reach consensus about whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it is otherwise correctly formatted, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Discoveries, where comments are welcome as to any rationale for this stub type. Please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals! BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 03:39, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Rubber Ninjas.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Rubber Ninjas.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.  fetchcomms 20:42, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Playstation cover[edit]

Don't add non-free files to any page other than the one it is specified to be used for on the fair use rationale, as it doesn't fall under fair use elsewhere. Also don't forget to tag the file's talk page with {{WP AFC}} to categorize files uploaded through FFU/AfC. Also be careful on closing requests as you forgot to close the template with {{subst:ffu b}} And (no offense) if you can't guarantee it'll stay up, don't upload it, only upload ones you are sure about. Regards,  fetchcomms 20:52, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

I said i couldn't guarantee it would stay up because every time I upload a non free image somebody orphans it. It has happened every time. Iamcool234 21:51, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned means not used on any pages. If that's going to be the case, then it probably doesn't fall under the NFCC anyhow, and should not be uploaded.  fetchcomms 01:24, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
And btw, I only marked the Rubber Ninjas image as orphaned because non-free images cannot be used in userspace.  fetchcomms 01:26, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Stub tags[edit]

Please don't waste other people's time by adding {{stub}} tags to articles like Samsung SGH-A127 which already have a sorted stub tag. Thanks. PamD (talk) 22:12, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

  • Honest mistake.Iamcool234 00:30, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Wikipedia Reviewer.svg

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. —DoRD (talk) 16:35, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Pending changes/Straw poll on interim usage[edit]

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:36, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
