Here are some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!
- For Wikipedia policies and guidelines, see The Five Pillars of Wikipedia and What Wikipedia is not.
- Find everything in the Directory.
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, the Sandbox is for you.
- If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random article button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.
- If you have edits from before creating an account, see the page on changing attribution for edits.
- You can also upload images. Make sure you use the correct copyright tags when you do.
- Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

[edit] Speedy deletion of EarthBrowser
A tag has been placed on EarthBrowser, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit] Proposed deletion of Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille
The article Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. I'm leaving this message as you're listed as a current participant of WikiProject Business. I was informed yesterday that the current World Factoring Yearbook (circa £150) is now free for download as an ebook. It's a matter of filling out this form.
